JJ995LMy wife and I recently spent a few days at the Fuzhou Sanbaobindi Hotel for a much-needed getaway, and it was, without question, the best hotel experience weāve ever had. Situated in the heart of Fuzhouās historic Sanfang Qixiang district, the hotel was the perfect base for exploring the cultural treasures of old Fuzhouāall within easy walking distance, including access to the metro.
From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed with traditional tea and snacks, and the check-in process was a breezeāunder three minutes! Our room overlooked a beautifully manicured Chinese garden and perfectly balanced traditional design with modern comfort. Every detail in the room was spotless, showing a clear respect for the historical architecture.
The true highlight of our stay, however, was the level of care and hospitality provided by the staff, especially our guest services manager, Roy Huang. Roy went above and beyond, offering us night snacks and daily desserts and taking time to share insights into Fuzhouās rich history and culture. Our conversations with him were a true pleasureālearning about the cityās architecture, the hotelās own story, and even the local tea culture, which he introduced us to with great care and knowledge.
Itās rare to meet someone who makes you feel so genuinely welcome. Royās attention to detail and kindness transformed our stay into something extraordinary. We left Fuzhou with a much deeper appreciation for the city, and it was all thanks to the team at the Sanbaobindi Hotel.
If youāre looking for an authentic yet refined stay that captures the spirit of traditional Fuzhou, I couldnāt recommend the Sanbaobindi Hotel highly enough. A heartfelt thank you to Roy and the entire staff for making this trip truly unforgettable.

Particularly like the western set deal at Basement which was delicious and value for money). Hotel is also near to äøåäøå·· (about 10 mins walk) and F&B (we tried čē¦å· for local food which was delicious and economical and dessert shop čµµč®°ä¼ ęæ).The only down side (small point unless it was raining) is the private hire booked thru didi always stopped along the road rather than in front of the hotel which is a car park.
Breakfast - can be a bit boring after staying for more than 2 days. Food is basically the same but the hotel will change about 2 of the dishes. Mostly carbs like porridge, noodles, man tou, bread. There was salad, yogurt (watery type), fruits, veg, hard boiled eggs ... but the variety was limited. Can't complain as the cost of accommodation including breakfast was already at a very attractive price
Facilities - All the rooms and laundry are on 3rd floor. Our room was almost at the end and hence it was a long walk for us. Appreciate that the hotel provides washing machine and dryer for guests use without charge. No need to put in washing detergent as it was pre-set.
Cleanliness - It was good especially this is a new hotel opened in 2024. However, my friend noticed urine on the toilet seat on the first day after check in. We feedback to the hotel and it was cleaned when we returned at the end of the day. Not very frequent in replenishing toilet paper and toiletries but we can always call and ask for top up. We booked 3 pax to one room but we were given 2 sets of slippers and towels and had to remind the hotel almost everyday.
Service - Staff was very friendly, helpful and polite. excellent service
Overall, I will still strongly recommend this hotel.

EEricThis hotel has held up well for it's age, as it is well maintained. The facilities and service personnel are definitely top-notched. Sleep quality was great. So was the food offerings at the Horizon Floor. However we are not thrilled by the location of the hotel. The adjoining shopping was easily accessible, but the 2 subway lines were quite a distance walk. Would certainly stay again if we are back.

AAnh-BaoThe apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood.
The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for.
Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak.
Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help.
The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing.
Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.

VVickie TehI recently stayed at a hotel near the airport that offered a fantastic combination of convenience and leisure, and I highly recommend it. This hotel provides an easy transfer from the airport with a free shuttle bus service (look for the pickup at door 6), making the journey hassle-free.
The location is perfect for those who enjoy the beach. Just a short walk away, you can stroll along the beautiful shoreline and even watch planes pass overhead, which is a unique and exciting experience. The beach access adds a delightful touch to the stay, offering relaxation and scenic views.
The accommodations are excellent, featuring comfortable beds that ensure a good night's sleepāessential for any traveler. The rooms are well-maintained and provide a cozy atmosphere for rest.
One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast. The buffet offered a wide variety of options to suit different tastes, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The quality of the food and the pleasant dining environment made for a great morning experience.

GGuest UserThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel.
We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (åå°å°ę). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable.
The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (éč¹). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed.
Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (åå°å°ę). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if thereās anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (éč¹) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (åå°å°ę) and Chen Hong (č„æé¤å
éč¹) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore.
Big thumbs up to Narada Resort & Spa, Shoukai, Fuzhou. The people there are truly amazing. Thank you very much!

JJenson HiahHave booked this hotel for 4 nights, on the third day the hotel told me I have to evacuate the premises in 2 hours, as they have encountered water and electricity issues, they just tell you to leave and without any service recovery, I was nearly stranded at such short noticeā¦they should have a better protocol to address this, nevertheless I like this hotel and I do recommend for travelers looking for a clean and budget accommodation in Fuzhou.
