1. Front counter desk staff are not actively responsive
2. Smoking smell continues to retain in the room from previous occupancy though room offered was for non-smoking
3. Self-service laundry mat was not available, though signage indicates availability
4. Condition of hotel looks a little run-down

Booked a 3 pax room . Spacious even for 3 person , good and recommend . Clean , near walkable to busy shopping district . Centre of fuzhou . Had a good stay before returning .

This is a famous (but old) hotel, so expect the amenities to be of age. As the rooms were carpeted, expect to find strands of hair or dust at some corners (no thanks when you’ve active toddler and children).
One of the room’s air-con kept giving problem to my parents where it stops working after a while (mind you, it’s summer time with temp hitting 36deg in the day so it can be stuffy and hot in the room if there’s no airconditioning), hotel engage technician to fix but the problem persist throughout our 4D3N stay.
It would be good if hotel keep up with time, to allocate a room / space for self service laundromat, we were stuck with dirty laundry for the entire stay which is huge headache for families with young children.

Booked 2 Family Rooms for 3 nights. Supposed to be on the 10 floor but was “upgraded” to 11 floor which has 4 rooms on that level. Rooms are new but just have to climb up 1 level by staircase. Bed are very comfortable. Daily fruits delivered to room (2 days apples with tomatoes and 1 day banana). No topping up of tea packs even though there is a tea set on the side table for u to make your tea. Location is excellent to nearby shopping areas. Next to underground metro and plenty of eateries under the link way. Tried the Buddha jump over the wall at level 3 restaurant which supposed to be the main creator for this dish. A bit pricey for the bigger 1 person portion (yuan 700plus) but worth a try. Other dishes was quite ordinary to me but it also depend on individual taste.

NOT recommended to stay here! The only person that derserve the good compliment is manager Mr. PAN. He is very friendly, helpful amd approchable.
First of all rooms are very old, cleaniness are not up to standard. Carpet are old and dusty. 1st night, i have itch all over my body. Family room shortage of items for 3 pax. Service was bad, house keeper show s bad atitude after twice requesting for shortage items. Breadfast was bad too. Not much choices, not much changers during our 6 days stays and very chinese.
Over all not a pleasent stays. Staff attitude are not friendly and not polite. Only afew are approchable and carry a smile in their face. The only great thing here is the location, very centralise, near SanFangQiXiang, food street and mrt station.
