The hotel that left a deep impression will have a chance to come back. The hotel is in a great location, close to the edge of the cliff. Invincible sea view. All kinds of swimming pools are suspended on the edge of the cliff at different heights. There are sea water, natural water temperature and heated water temperature, which enjoy great value. There are 2 large restaurants, and the rest of the outdoor restaurants, bars, and salons are so many that they have stayed for a few days and have not found out. The big restaurant buffet has a cabaret show in the evening, and the male and female singers play piano. There are tabloids in the hotel, 6 languages, English and American languages, and there are American and British versions. Service staff gentlemanly, friendly and friendly. Different restaurants with a variety of flavors to choose from.

Wir waren leider nicht wirklich zufrieden. Die Lage war wunderschön! Jedoch war das Hotel viel zu groß, um sich wohlzufühlen…beim Frühstück war es extrem laut, die Mitarbeiter überfordert und das Buffet total verstreut. Innerhalb der hoteleigenen Restaurants wurde man ziemlich über den Tisch gezogen, indem sie einem immer wieder Brot und Wasser anboten, was schlussendlich auf der Rechnung stand! Des Weiteren zahlt man eine Service-Gebühr von 10% für einen Service, der nicht anders war als in einem normalen Restaurant, wo man diese nicht zahlen muss. Dafür, dass es ein 5-Sterne-Hotel ist, bietet es ziemlich wenig und ist leider nur auf Profit und nicht auf das Wohl der Gäste aus. Für den Preis nicht zu empfehlen! Schade….

The reception is super nice and helpful. Room is too old and the bed is not comfortable. The view is nice but I don’t like the breakfast. The service people at breakfast area is rude, and breads & foods are not 5 star hotel level

The very good location, the friendly and pre-eminent staff and the restaurant facilities offered make the hotel a perfect starting point for a trip to Madeira. We would definitely come back.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Lido area; great restaurants around the hotel and the airport bus stops right outside the hotel (return cost 8 euros)! Staff really friendly also and the team arranged a little surprise for my partner s birthday also. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was really good too with lots of choices. Hotel amenities were good too. All in all a great hotel. We also enjoyed the 30min walk to the old town from hotel but appreciate this may not be for everybody…though plenty taxis and the local bus route are a skip and a hop away.

The staff were all very kind, but the facilities were basic. There were no slippers, no tissues, no shampoo, conditioner or body soap in the room, only hand soap. Also, even though I'm a woman, my room was on the first floor and was completely visible from the pool unless I closed the curtains, and I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs. The staff were very kind to me, so I don't want to say anything bad about it, but I feel like they could have done something about it. However, I wanted to catch the ferry, so I stayed at the closest hotel to the ferry terminal.

We were very comfortable at the Pestana Grand Hotel. The guests were 60+ , which did not disturb us. The food could be a little more spiced and after a week half-pension it was enough. The mattresses were very soft at first, but I did so well. The internet is very weak, but somehow everywhere on the island, not enough to work m.E.. All in all was but a super relaxing week U d in the evening there was almost always life music (for the older semester:-) )

This was a great experience, my room included a spa wet circuit which was very relaxing. The views from hotel were amazing and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The location was very convenient and close to the town center. It was an excellent and relaxing hotel stay.

The breakfast is very good, suitable for children, the location of the hotel is impeccable, it can be said that the best. Recommended by British friends, the price is more expensive than other hotels. I didn't feel anything special when I looked at the website pictures, but I still believe in my friends and I booked them. Check-in is at night, from the front desk reception to the lead to the room to experience the professional, enthusiastic and meticulous service of the hotel staff. Needless to mention the room, there is a hotel manager's personal welcome speech, service introduction box, postcard, welcome dessert... Feel the bay's breeze night view on the balcony, drink some red wine, great. After a long-distance flight, take a shower in the classic and elegant bathtub, sweet as a dream. At 7 o'clock in the morning, the sun has not come out, greet a new day in the heated swimming pool in Jingyi. If you like sea water, you can swim in two seawater swimming pools, especially the unique piscina pool on the beach, let you let go of your imagination. Breakfast is a surprise. Every meal is carefully prepared, with a wide selection of ingredients, a wide variety of foods, and a lot of local specialties. The tableware is exquisite, and you can enjoy the feeling of the rising sun. The breakfast manager is great, remembering the name of each guest and feeling warm. The garden of the hotel, as a gardening professional, can only Wow, linger on, can't bear to leave, look at the picture...
