Don’t ever come near this place! They think they own the public bikini beach. They have some sunbeds on the beach, but since no one was working there some people were using it, then two people from this place just started saying “get out of this place! You’re foreigners!” I’ve never seen anybody who works with tourists being this rude ever before! They were yelling with everyone, being total rude! This hotel isn’t even beachfront! It was a very upsetting situation.

Best family business on the island . The boys are Amazing. Nothing is to much trouble and the boat trips that they run are excellent value and beyond worth it . It simply was one the best trips of our lives . We couldn’t have asked for anything better . We wish the family all the successful for their hard work . Sending love and good health . Everything was superb from the staff who were friendly, kind and efficient, location was beautiful, a local island with stunning beaches and sea, food was very tasty and varied , excursions were breathtaking and rooms clean and comfortable Excellent!

Island break is a cozy small guesthouse on Fulidhoo, Vavuu Atoll. It is run by two brothers and a bunch of really friendly, local people. It is easy to get there from Male, about an hour by speedboat. We were picked up at the jetty, and on the five minute walk to the guesthouse, they showed us where to find everything from the pharmacy to the two other restaurants at the island. Fulidhoo is small. You can walk around it in 20 minutes, and there around 300 locals lives there. Everyone is nice and welcoming. The rooms at Island Break are big, clean and have everything you need. We ate almost all out meals here, and the food was good. If we wished for something else or wanted to tweak something a bit, it was done with a smile and no extra charge. We stayed three friends at Island Break for five nights and had a great time. One day we went on a boat trip with them early in the morning to go see sharks, giant mantas and turtles. I’ve been diving for 25 years, and I can’t even mention the number of times, I was promised to see stuff - and very seldom we succeeded. That’s nature, but the guys went the extra mile, and we snorkeled with more than 20 big (nurse)sharks, mantas and turtles. It was an amazing trip. We could have been lucky, and luck is properly better in the Maldives, than many other places, if you want to see big stuff. Remember to go early (no later than 8.30), then you will be there all alone. Island Break is a perfect little oasis in paradise with very reasonable prices. I can only recommend to stay there.

Island Break to niewielki hotel/guesthouse położony na malutkiej wyspie w obrębie atolu Vaavu. Obiekt oferuje skromne ale czyste i zadbane pokoje, wyśmienite posiłki, na które składają się dania lokalnej kuchni i świeże soki owocowe oraz kilka udogodnień umilających pobyt (paddleboard, sheesha, kajaki, lezaki na plazy itd.) Hotel prowadzony jest przez 3 braci, którzy zrobia wszystko by pobyt był udany, otaczają każdego niezwykła gościnnością i są zawsze gotowi pomóc. Miejsce odpowiednie dla osób, które lecąc na Malediwy chcą zobaczyć coś więcej niż tylko resort na prywatnej wyspie.

Very charming small hotel, perfectly located in this small island. Friendly staff (3 brothers: Mousa, Mustafa and Ibrahim), that had many years of experience, working in island resorts. They provide us very tastefully prepared vegan food (we had hb). Hotel has access to private beach area (not bikini one, but very close to it) which we enjoyed a lot. I will recommend this hotel to other tourists, and I will come again if visiting Fulidhoo next time.

We had an amazing short stay of 3 nights. The island was very small and beautiful. The room was very cozy and clean. Food was amazing. We fed some nurse sharks and sting rays literally on shore. Visited the ship wreck (was breathtaking). Nurse shark point was an equally jaw dropping experience. The 3 brothers who run Island Break are very friendly and helpful. All in all, this was a trip we would never forget.

We loved everything about this hotel. My only regret is not staying longer! It’s clean, comfortable and decorated nicely. The family that runs it is excellent and gave us lots of help and attention. They booked our tour and ferry and even brought our luggage to the dock. They were so warm and welcoming. I like the AC and fan in the room and there is alot of spaces to hang clothes to dry The bed was very comfortable and they provided beach towels Now onto the food - JUST AMAZING. We ate there all of the meals and especially liked the curries and vanilla cake Don’t hesitate to book this boutique hotel

It's almost been a year since we visited Island Break on Fulidhoo. We are a family of five with children in age 1, 5, and 8 years old. We loved, simply loved, staying on Island Break, and we still love thinking and talking about it. It's nice and quit and, most important, the staff is amazing..!! We are most definitely going back to Fulidhoo with the purpose of visiting Island Break.
