I only had contact with the staff at check-in, but they were nice. The bed and desk were big, so I thought the room was very convenient. I had assumed that I would be able to see Mt. On the day we landed in Narita airport, all trains and busses heading to Fujinomiya were cancelled due to typhoon Shanshan. We tried reaching out the hotel via Trip.com telling them we had a problem traveling to the hotel. But the hotel couldn’t accommodate our request. We asked to keep our booking for later dates. Our request was rejected. Based on our research, we booked this hotel because it locates very near bus station for early morning Fuji climbing. Unfortunately we couldn’t provide a thorough review of this hotel.

The facilities are old, but we had everything we needed and had a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, I couldn't see Mt.Fuji due to the weather, so I would like to come back for sightseeing and stay here again. The Fujinomiya yakisoba set I ordered from room service was delicious and I'm glad I chose it. It seems that there is only one person at the front desk, and the wifi seems to be turned off from midnight to early morning. If you don't like old things, it's a quiet and relaxing hotel. It was a smoking room, so there was a slight smell of cigarettes, but I was born in the Showa era and was trained, so it's totally okay (laughs).

I think this is a new type of hotel and it's great! It's like a guesthouse, but there are partitions so it's comfortable. Everything was clean, including the toilets and showers. Cleansing, lotion, and milky lotion were provided in the bathroom. Other amenities, including towels and toothbrushes, must be purchased, so I recommend bringing your own! You can also drink coffee and tea for free in the shared space. One thing to note is that it is prohibited to make sound from your smartphone, so I recommend bringing headphones.
