Ulasan KUMONOUE FUJI HOTEL

Saya suka hotel ini dalam segala hal! Staf yang sangat baik dan penuh perhatian. Terima kasih banyak atas kejutan ulang tahunnya! Meski kami tidak bisa melihat Gunung Fuji dengan jelas, namun pemandangan dari kamar tetap menyenangkan. Makanannya luar biasa dan lingkungan makannya nyaman dan tenang. Saya pasti akan kembali dan merekomendasikan orang untuk tinggal di Kumonoue untuk perjalanan ke Gunung Fuji!

Kamarnya sangat bagus, lingkungannya sangat bagus, pelayanannya juga sangat bagus, ada shuttle bus, makan malamnya juga enak, dan sarapannya juga enak. Namun, ada beberapa kekurangan yang bisa diperbaiki: 1. Hotel di hutan rentan terhadap serangga, tetapi hanya ada sedikit cara untuk menghadapinya, akan ada banyak serangga terbang yang sangat kecil di tempat tidur pada malam hari (buka pintu sekali saja dan Anda akan dipukul, tidak peduli seberapa cepat atau lambat Anda menutupnya) memengaruhi tidur 2. Bagian bawah kaca balkon tidak boleh transparan, jika tidak akan sulit untuk menjamin privasi saat mandi di balkon.Hal ini tidak dipikirkan dalam desain 3. Kamarnya banyak ruang, banyak laci, ruang dan kotak tanpa barang, yang agak membosankan 4. Lampu kamar mandi adalah lampu sensor, saat pergi ke toilet, perlu mengeluarkan suara terus menerus agar tetap menyala, apakah desain ini sedikit? 5. Tampaknya hotel akan mengontrol suhu AC di kamar? Saya tidak suka itu 6. Ini bak mandi, bukan sup, jika tidak ada bau belerang, sebaiknya mandi air panas saja Secara keseluruhan, lingkungan dan perangkat kerasnya sangat bagus, saya harap masalah perangkat lunak ini dapat diperbaiki

Stunning view of mt Fuji from the room. The hotel staff was very friendly. Although English wasn’t her native tongue, she was patient and doing her best to communicate with us.

We loved our stay! The hotel featured amazing views of Mt Fuji and was nestled right next to a forest, creating a very peaceful setting for a romantic weekend. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, both of which were quite delicious! We also were able to try some new foods that we’d never have tried otherwise. The rooms were a good size with a modern bathroom and a more traditional bedroom area. The outdoor patio had a great soaking tub, which we enjoyed while looking at Mt. Fuji during sunset. The rooms also came equipped with traditional shoes and clothing, which was a very nice cultural touch. Lastly, I wanted to say that service was great and we loved Grace, who was so welcoming and who made the experience that much better.

The hotel is within walking distance from Oishi Park, on a hilltop with very good view of Mt Fuji. But the slope up is quite steep, best to take the hotel's shuttle car. No food options nearby, can get the hotel's dinner and breakfast, which is quite good. The hotel is clean and of good size, and staff are friendly and helpful. Good for a relaxing day.

Love the location, it’s nice and quiet. Although food was not to our taste but service was great. We will definitely come back.

The room itself was very good, with an ‘onsen’ at the balcony. You will need to fill up the tub yourself. Location-wise, the hotel is located on top of a hill with a narrow path up. Walking up with your luggage will be a challenge. It’s more accessible if you drive.

Room is clean as well as the onsen bath tub. The room booked also has full view of Mt Fuji without any obstruction. The hotel staffs are all friendly and helpful. They do offer pick up and drop off services to kawaguchiko station without any charges at specific time. One of the best hotel services I have received. Kudos to the team! Only thing that was not in favor for the trip was the gloomy weather. 🥲 will definitely come back again!

Friendly hotel staff, and great view of mount fuji just from your doorstep. Location is up the hill but no issue if you’re driving. Will come back again next time!

If you are looking for a zen accommodation that is far and away from the hustle and bustle, one that exudes tranquility, has the perfect Mt Fuji view with no photobomb (no one to vie with you for the best view / photo spot) and is new, modern and basically impeccable a room, this is the right hotel for you. I have almost nothing but praises for this accommodation except perhaps its location. As it is allll the way up the hilly area and right on the opposite side of Lake Kawaguchiko’s main bustling area, you can really only rely on 1) their shuttle service which has pretty limited timings (last shuttle at 4.30pm) cos after all it’s mostly meant for shuttling guests on arrival only 2) taxi which is expensive ~ 10mins ride up for 3,000 yen 3) driving your own vehicle. Apart from its distant proximity to the station and all, it really is the best kind of accommodation where it’s almost like an attraction itself, the kind where you intentionally spend a night at the hotel just to get the full experience. Have a look at the photos and let the photos do the talking (sorry they are kinda blurry as I took screenshots off the room video instead). Service is excellent, and staff is really nice and helpful too albeit limited English-speaking staff. They have a Mandarin-speaking staff onsite which is really helpful. My friend and I opted for breakfast as well which is pretty good, but note that you will have to inform the receptionist on your preferred time slot (nothing like the buffet style / seating) at the end of the day (they would likely approach you to ask abt it though so no worries even if you had forgotten abt it). Note that the private hot spring bath in the room is simply natural hot spring water and not onsen; silly me thought it was onsen 🥲 anyhow, the bathtub was really clean too so plus points to the housekeeping. All in all, a really lovely, enjoyable and most definitely unforgettable stay at Kumonoue Fuji! Would I choose to stay here again on my next trip to Mt Fuji? Absolutely, in a heartbeat!

We had booked a room for Fuji view, and indeed we were greeted with a magnificent view of the kawaguchiko lake & Mt Fuji. The staffs were friendly & helpful. Room was comfortable, everything was clean, however the bathroom had no where to hang our towels- I think that can be improved. Also, the hotel is located on a small hill, which can only be accessed via a very steep road up. I strongly recommend to rent a car when you are staying there as it is quite difficult to walk up the hill if you don’t have a car.

The hotel is nestled in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy area. We stayed 3 nights in a room facing the lake with a magnificent view of Fuji-san. A van provides shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko station. The restaurant is not operational hence we either ate outside or bought food back from Lawson/7-11. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive, and there were Mandarin-speaking staff. We miss it very much even though we are now in Hoshino Amoriya, which speaks a lot about the Kumonoue Fuji!
