The Southern light floods its guest rooms and suites refurbished in contemporary lines and tones. Its characterful decor expresses the bare stone of the former wine cellar. What a gem. The location is beautiful, off the main roads, in the middle of the vineyards. Everything feels qualitative, from the details in the room to the outside spaces, to the restaurant. We felt very comfy and cosy at the fireplace in the lobby, where we were served an excellent rose upon arrival. The rooms are large, wonderful huge beds and a great bathroom. The feel is elegant and comfy. Not too many rooms, so very personal as well. All the staff were super friendly. The a la carte breakfast is one of the best we ever had. Fresh and local products. The croissants are big & delicious. Don't miss them! We had dinner in the restaurant which was outstanding. Do go for the complementary wine tour and tasting whilst you are there! Highly recommended stay, nicely & quietly located in a very interesting area.

Stayed here for 1 night. Pulled into the lot at 3:00pm and it was mid 90's and hot as hades. Checked in and they asked us if we wanted to eat dinner and breakfast. We decided to as the hotel is not close to anything that I could tell. They also mentioned that had a pool which seemed perfect given the heat. Room was very large and the AC unit had no chance to cool this room adequately given the heat. But OK, if not trying to sleep. So I drive to the nearest town to buy swim trunks and come back to the hotel and go to the pool and am shocked to see that the water is green and it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks? Pro's: 1) Dinner and breakfast was pretty good. 2) Room was well decorated and huge. 3) Setting of the hotel is beautiful. Con's: 1) Pool was unuseable IMO 2) AC not adequate to cool the room for sleeping in the hottest weeks of the year. AC did not blow on the bed but off to the side which did not help. 3) Hotel was pretty expensive, so was surprised at the pool situation.

Everything was great! Staff was amazing. They may want to build a step to enter the pool as it’s a big drop. Otherwise the room was amazing and all details were perfect.

It was a unique experience to stay and wake up in the winery’s . The property is beautiful and quiet. It has a inside and outside restaurant with the delicious food and it’s own wine! I had an outstanding view from my patio, had the best breakfast . I felt I’m the only one at the hotel because there are not many rooms there ))

Four of us (Americans), went to do the visit of Clos des Roses Vineyard on July 12. The visit was great; Julie (I think) spoke English well and responded to all questions and was very kind and patient. It ended with a nice wine tasting. We had made reservation for lunch at noon, right after the visit. The restaurant was completely empty including the outside terrace and the hostess asked us where we wanted to sit. We pointed to a table bordering the garden, which was dressed for four with an extra napkin with a glass at the end of the table (see picture, It was not reserved). As she started to walk us to the table, the Maître D walked quickly up to her and told her in French as if we did not exist “no, not this one, it is for five; tell them to pick one of the two in the middle”. I happen to be perfectly fluent in French but did not say anything. The three ladies and I sat down a little upset about the lack of effort and rudeness coming from the person in charge. When it came to order drinks, we ordered a couple of glasses of wine (two of us were driving). The sommelier asked if we wanted flat or sparkling water and I responded “une carafe d’eau s’il vous plaît” (tap water). He scowled, looked extremely annoyed and left. About 10 minutes later someone brought us 4 “amuse bouches” but we still did not have water or wine. I asked the young waiter for water again and he went back to the kitchen. A couple of minutes later he came back and said they could not give us a water bottle, but he would bring 4 glasses. It was hot that day and we still did not have water after 20mn at the table. We decided to leave. It is mandatory in France to provide free water in restaurants, All French people know that, tourists often don’t. They did have bottles because their bottling plant is across the hallway from the restaurant, they produce 60,000 bottles a year! It was from the start clearly a case of “we’ll just put the non-French speaking Americans where we want and we will treat them as dumb foreigners”. Only one other table had shown up by the time we left. The manager and the Maître D started following us back to the car trying to talk to us once they found out that I could speak French. The fact that they do not export any of their products may explain why they would not care about the bad publicity. Stay away from the restaurant for sure, as for the visit there are plenty of other nice vineyards in the area.
