Hotel Barbara

Great single room. Comfortable bed, excellent bedding, and a fantastic breakfast. A one-minute walk from the train station. A fifteen minute walk to the Black Forest. The hotel is very quiet and not on a main street. I will staying here again soon.

I really enjoyed this little hotel and the area it was in. The staff were very kind and the room was clean and big enough. There was also AC which was important to me for my mom. I felt safe in the area and the street quieted down by 10:30. There are two restaurants on the street, but they were quiet by 10:30-11. The other guests were quiet and I couldn’t hear too much in the hotel. One very important detail is there is no lift. We were on the 4th floor, so had to climb quite a few stairs each time. If you have mobility issues remember to request a lower floor and remember if you live in the US their first floor is really like our second. Other than that the hotel is lovely and the decor felt very authentic and homey. It’s a good value I feel and I enjoyed the area. We ate at the Antica restaurant across the street on the corner two nights in a row. There was not a coffee machine in the room, but the one downstairs is really nice. I have zero complaints and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

This was a lovely hotel extremely convenient to the Alstadt! We had one night in a very small room and the following day moved to the biggest room in the hotel which was fabulous! The staff is very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated! Very good breakfast with good variety snd choices! I would recommend this hotel in Freiburg!

We came by car and the hotel offered us a parking plot in an underground parking in the nearby. Very convenient. 10 euro which we thought was a good deal. Nice room with a small refrigerator. Wifi and TV. Bottle of water in the room. Aircondition. Nice beds. Breakfast was good. Hotel centrally placed. Very good.

Sehr gutes Hotel. Preis-Leistung werden hier absolut erfüllt. Das Frühstück ist angemessen. Es ist alles da, was ein leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstück ausmacht. Das Frühstücksei war perfekt :-). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Hotel simple situé tout près de la gare. La convivialité dépend beaucoup de la personne à la réception, dommage mais j'ai été très bien accueilli lors de mon arrivée de nuit. Les chambres sont pas très grandes mais confortable et propres. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas très fourni mais tout à fait dans les normes. Vous pouvez essayer sans trop de soucis.
