Radisson Hotel Freehold

We stayed here in February of 2026 for the Garden State Karate Championships. After a disastrous experience with drunken wedding party and music blaring in the hallways (by the hotel) till 2 am, the hotel was a lot better this time. No complaints, clean, quiet. I made a mental note of the young man’s name checking us in, but already forgot it. He was very accommodating and funny.

We were visiting family and the location was perfect - close to shopping (Mall, Walmart, Livoti's! and many more, but situated far enough from traffic. It's a wedding venue hotel and we appreciated the thoughtfulness to not put us in a room close to the party crowd. Housekeeping did a great job with the daily cleaning. However, we did have some issues with towel availability- which seems petty, but we were always short 1 towel, were given less than presentable towels (tattered non-conventional towels and bath math towels) the first time we requested the extra towel. I gave up asking when housekeeping explained that "It was the company" who was responsible for us not getting the extra towel. I'm not sure if that meant there was a general issue with towel availability and "the company" couldn't provide more as asked, or if "the company" didn't allow us to have an extra towel. Either way, it was not a great hospitality look. It seemed there might have been an issue with AC in the hallways as well, but it was made worse on our last night when it was coupled by the smell of ****. I'll take this AC incident as a "one-off" though because AC IN the room was awesome. Through this, one employee made the difference between us not coming back and giving this hotel one more chance. Thank you Zach for always brightening up our day with your positiveness. We hope to see you the next time we're in town!

Me and my party overall had a pretty good experience. There were a couple of things that could have been better. There was a musky smell and a small stain on the bed. We had an interesting experience with a staff member, but people have bad days so it is not her fault. But the service was good. It took almost a It took almost a hour and a half to get our food, but we did have a fairly large party .The bar and restaurant were nice. Didn’t stay long enough to fully experience the Radisson hotel.Me and my party had a nice time but would probably not come back.

Receptionist was very helpful and professional. Got an early check-in. Rooms are dated but ok. Bathroom could be updated with better lighting.

Pool wasnt in use. Not open Ice machines. On 2nd flood not working Maybe add more food items to the menu. In the bar lounge

Breakfast was too expensive and on Saturday room was dark and at 7:15 we were only ones there.

We first stayed in this hotel when it was the Freehold Sheraton Gardens back in 1982. Hotel was special to us and we were pleased to see that it was so well maintained.

Sebastian Bueger was very professional! From my first day to the day of my check-out, her greeted me personally by name, great attitude, very helpful and is a great asset to this location. The entire staff was great really, especially the house keeping ladies. There is no question where I will be staying when I’m in Freehold, NJ.

Didn’t have WiFi our entire stay with them they claimed it was down all 3 days phones were not getting service in rooms.. the cable tv was also down and I called to complain 3 times about teenagers running around the hallways and slamming doors at midnight it went on for hours. Seriously ridiculous haven’t had such a bad experience staying at an hotel in a while.
