The beds include brand new memory foam mattresses so you feel like you are sleeping on a cloud, covered in plush 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, a fluffy duvet comforter and firm pillows that cradle your head with comfort. Bedrooms include dressers, closets and suitcase stands for your convenience. Our bath towels are large, thick and soft to dry you after coming from a relaxing rain shower. Located on the historic "Saint Elizabeth" (circa 1745) farm property, 1500 feet from our farmhouse, the cabin was remodeled as a luxury, upscale guesthouse, using the finest materials and craftsmanship, including handmade pieces by owner and resident wood-maker, Bill Eyler. The bedroom boasts an antique canopy bed, wonderful marble topped dresser and washstand, new mini-split HVAC, and the the large bathroom includes a large corner spa tub. The Jarboe Suite is situated nicely with a small kitchenette that includes a dry-sink conversion, countertop cooktop, microwave, basic pots and pans, and utensils.There is an 850 yard long path down to the large Monocacy River which borders the East edge of the farm. There is about 1500 ft of river frontage, but it's not really possible to manicure the river bank so you'll need to work your way down to the water as if you were in the wild if you'd like to fish or launch a kayak.Currently several animals from D&D's Petting Zoo and Pony Rides are boarded at the farm and include ponies, a zebra, a miniature donkey, goats and other such critters. The bathroom has two sections for privacy and soft hotel quality towels. The loft sitting area is equipped with a large 50-inch smart screen TV, couch, table for four, books and games. Wi-Fi is on an extended network and is available throughout the property. You are welcome to explore the grounds and relax on one of the many benches or tables. The heated pool is available from 9am to 10pm seasonally. The cozy fire pit is available for guests year-round from 9am to 10pm. The pool is open May 1st through September 30th. A large fenced in backyard and waste cleanup station is available for your furry friend(s).Guests have access to their entire wing of the Lodge, the grounds, charcoal grill, heated pool, and fire pit.
