Hotel dengan Sarapan Pagi di Fox Glacier

The room is not big, but it has everything you need and is clean and tidy. This is the only hotel you can choose in Fox Town. This hotel is pretty good. The breakfast provided needs to be self-service, but it is well prepared. The service is quite considerate and they specially recommended the best location for viewing the glacier for us.

This should be a motel run by Chinese people. The front desk staff can speak Chinese. It is far from the town center, but it is not a big deal since most people travel by car. As a motel for a rest stop, it is neither good nor bad, but it is strictly forbidden to charge electric vehicles here, even if it is equipped with a standard car charger for household power. I communicated with the front desk several times, but was rejected even though I expressed my willingness to pay the fee and bear the risk. Friends who travel by electric vehicle should try to book a hotel with a destination charger, especially on the west coast where there are few charging stations, which may be a bit worrying.

Clean and spacious apartment. Interesting the kitchen is together with sleeping area. Food smell actually hard to ventilate out. Kitchen amenities slightly worn out but still can be used. Our poor luck as the clothes dryer in the laundry room is faulty. We dropped coins for twice and still damp, so no choice we packed up in car and travel on. Own car pouch Infront of apartment. Contactless arrangement for check in. Love the quick response from host. This is certainly the best Accom to stay in if you drop by for Fox Glacier Hike.

There is a saying, the location of the motel is very convenient, in the center of the town, from the attractions are very close to the car, the town is relatively quiet, all kinds of service facilities (gas station, convenience store, catering, etc.), the hotel has its own free parking lot in the hospital, the room is relatively clean, however, the TV viewing experience is very poor, the hotel basically does not have access to the real-time TV signal source, the channel does not seem to be a real-time signal source, it is estimated that it is to save money, there is no channel to buy from the TV operator

Very nice staff, everything was perfect. Breakfast could be better but quite standard in NZ.

It was already 6pm when I checked in, and no one was there to greet me. I got my room number from the note on the glass, and was told that the key was in the room. When I left, I just had to turn off the power and heating and leave the key. It was a very Buddhist management. The room facilities were simple, and the bathroom curtain was a bit dirty and old. It wasn't warm enough to sleep at night.

The environment is beautiful, surrounded by rainforest, glaciers and lakes. The facilities are a bit long but clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and very relaxing. But there is nothing for sale in the small town, and the items in the canteen are very expensive. Saw lots of free fireflies

The hotel is right next to the departure point for the Fox Glacier helicopter, and you can walk there after checking in. It rained when we came so we couldn't make the trip, but the hotel itself was pretty good and the room was large. The only drawback was that the water pressure was very low and the shower was not very comfortable. Breakfast is a Western-style buffet breakfast, which is not rich but enough to satisfy you. You can have dinner for white people at the whitepub coffee shop next to the hotel. It costs NZD 25-30 per person and the taste is okay. Hotels in Fox Glacier are generally expensive. After 11 days in New Zealand, this is the only one with a price over 1,000.

The male receptionist who greeted us was not particularly friendly; and only when we got to our first floor room did we read about a luggage service. The room was tastefully furnished and clean, and other staff we interacted with were friendly. However the biggest issue is that the walls between rooms are are paper thin so we could hear people next door and doors banging. This woke us up early on both nights we stayed. If you stay - bring ear plugs. There was a lounge with a bar - the bar was permanently closed so there was no where to get a hot or cold drink unless you went to a cafe down the road.

The hotel facilities are average, but they have everything you need. The location is very good, on the main street, very close to the meeting point for glacier hiking, and only 5 minutes walk from the trail where you can see fireflies. The boss is very nice, answering all questions and introducing us to many surrounding attractions. I forgot to mention that the boss is Chinese, and I felt very close to him because he could communicate in Chinese.
