A very good choice in central Foshan
I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. It is an older property, but the service has remained consistently good.
This time I specifically booked a renovated room, which was clean, comfortable and much closer to the standard of a modern business hotel. I also noticed that the hotel has added self-service laundry facilities, which is extremely useful for guests staying on longer business trips. Considering how expensive hotel laundry services usually are, this is a very practical improvement.
The Cantonese restaurant in the same building is also very good, especially the dim sum, and hotel guests receive a discount.
The hotel is not new or luxurious, but it offers good service, a central location, convenient parking and reasonable value. I also appreciate that the management is clearly continuing to improve an older hotel rather than simply leaving it unchanged.
Two things could still be improved: adding EV charging points in the hotel underground car park, and making the parking validation process easier, as guests currently need to scan a code at the front desk before leaving.
Overall, I would highly recommend it, especially if you choose one of the renovated rooms. I have been staying here for many years and would continue to return.
