Rooms are usually very clean. However this time around there were ants literally everywhere!! The bathroom the side tables and the tv stands! There were so many ants I had to buy ant dust to attempt to get rid of them. It’s hard to sleep comfortably when you’re surrounded by little red ants in the room. That issue needs to be fixed before I stay there again. The rooms are still clean and the staff is amazing but the bugs have to go! Especially when the price is 95$ per night.

Very easy check-in & out. Very nice breakfast included (cereal, muffins, bagels, waffles, eggs, sausage, coffee & juices. They have a designated dog walk area and although it is not fully fenced in, it is a nice gesture. They provide poop sacks and a shaded area to sit - if only others would clean up after their own pets! Hotel is close to restaurants, the pier, & short drive to Destin. There did seem to be some homeless people and a bit of a rougher crowd in the area but we did not experience any problems during our stay.

After paying the property $540 for 3 nights. After the 1st night, in the next Morning i find is a roach next to the bed. Yes i did take a picture of the bug in my phone. I was very upset that after i spent all that money for a roach to be next to the bed i slept in after 1 night. Freaking ridiculous if ask me. The hotel staff exchange the room for me and did heavy cleaning on that same room. Which was nice of the staff and manager. But could not lower my room rate. You are guranteed i will never book a hotel with ******* or la quinta ever. What a horrible experience.

We had a mix up in our reservation and Christina at the desk went above and beyond to help us out. She called the hotel I had thought I booked and got us rebooked there and took care of everything at both places. Totally impressed by her attitude and willingness to help! What a super employee ❤️

Everything was great but the room air conditioner, 72 was the lowest it would go, any lower setting would cause it to freeze up and climb above 75.
