MainStay Suites

This is a brand new renovated hotel. It is a budget-friendly Hilton brand. It was so clean, but I wonder if there is more to come. 1). No coffee in the room. 2). No hot items at breakfast (it's okay when the price was just $117/night) 3. No carpet or rugs in the room. There is coffee and fixings (no hot chocolate) 24/7 in the lobby. There is laundry, pool, and a fitness center.

Bait and switch - we booked the hotel for $82 and they ended up charging us $137. The people in the hotel itself couldn’t help us and told us to call Hilton to talk to them. Update to hotel response on Google: that is not true. We called and spoke with hector at the beginning of July since your system would not let us extend our stay. Hector called us back and said they couldn’t extend it so we had to book separate but they were able to honor the friends and family discount for 2 nights. For the 3rd night we paid a different rate and agreed to it. But the 2nd night was booked at the same price as the first night. The fact they are being argumentative and not helpful says a lot about this facility. I didn’t even mention the staff or cleanliness. Our tub had some yellow stain in it after they supposedly cleaned it. Also we had to get new key cards every night since they don’t know how to work their system. We’ve stayed at tons of Hilton hotels and their system allows them extend the hotel keys. Also, Hilton somehow managed to respond to this review and not offer any help or solutions. The hotel staff asked us to call Hilton honors since they couldn’t help us. After an hour on the phone with honors, they couldn’t help us and told us to send an email. Meanwhile, we still haven’t heard back from anyone with a return phone call or email regarding the situation besides their response to the Google review. I’ve never experienced such horrendous customer service, as well as being scammed out of $55 that was 100% unauthorized and never agreed to.
