Fergus Club Carema Splash

Nicely decorated apartment hotel. Great localization and not too hard to find parking really close to reception this time of the year. The apartment itself was very clean and everything was fully functional The only thing to improve - the doors and windows feel a bit old and sometimes windows are hard to close/open

Very good hotel with nice beach around the corner , very nice swimming pool and water park . If you like tennis there is a tennis court . Staff is very nice and friendly . Our economy apartment was on ground floor, it was very nice and had everything we needed . I would defenitely recomend and go back .

The hotel was fantastic. Very traditional on the outside,and very modern & contemporary inside. Great swimming pool area and great splash park in the grounds of the complex. Hotel staff all very friendly and helpful. We was self catering. But found some lovely restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely be going back

We had a wonderfull reception. Kind people. Very good appartement cleaners. Excellent service. Absolutly nothing to complain. The location is fantastic. Various swimming Pools, a splash park with watherslides and the sea all within a minute walk.

We went as a family of 3, self catering to Carema Club resort. My 6 year old extremely excited after viewing the pictures on Jet 2 holidays, especially of the splash park which is within the hotel facilities. This was the main reason we booked. We went in to the splash park on our 2nd day for an hour as it is for children ages up to 12, with 3 small slides and a shallow splash area no swimming for adults here. On our 2nd visit, I was told by the lifeguard that we needed a wristband and I said were staying in the hotel and reception hadn't mentioned a wristband. Turns out, we would need to pay extra to use the splash park which is only for children. My six year really upset he couldn't continue to use splash park. Adults pay 20 euros and children are free but you can't leave them unsupervised so its not free entry, is it? The Jet 2 rep, comment was it is on the website- which is in small print if you look hard and it has no mention of the ridiculous cost. After this happened, I read other reviews saying the same thing so it needs to be a lot clearer I feel I was mis-sold my holiday, as it was my main reason for booking here and if I had booked direct it would of been included. The hotel had a limited menu. We tried to book a breakfast for 2 adults and a six year old at about £50, was extremely expensive and we couldn't pay cash and the card reader wouldn't work, so we ended up leaving. The local supermarkets in this resort are almost twice the price of that are inland. The hotel room was basic and clean but tatty in places (cracks in tiles, hole in wall next to bathroom taps, handle fell off wardrobe, shelf missing from fridge and zip covers broken on settee cushions which was part of the pull out bed). Despite this, the room was cleaned regularly and the cleaning staff were friendly. To stay in the resort, you definitely need a car, just so you are not limited with places to eat and paying over the top in local supermarkets. Menorca is beautiful but I won't be going back. Very expensive for the experience!

The hotel and amenities didn’t disappoint and were as expected. The hotel and grounds were well kept and attractive, as was the pool and restaurants. The hotel is a really short walk from the beach which is ideal and the pool was great too with artificial grass instead of slippery tiles. We went for b&b as we like to explore local cuisine for dinner which was easy to do and a handful of restaurants were a 5-10 hour all away. Great selection for breakfast, albeit busy. The staff were great at clearing and cleaning. The accommodation was excellent; we had a kitchenette in the room too which was handy. Cleaned every day. The water park required wrist bands for the days we used it (needed to go via reception for this) but this is in the hotel complex so all very close. We went in June so it wasn’t peak so nothing was TOO busy which was nice. The area is quiet, if you’re after some nightlife, probably not the place for you. Pregnant +3 year old - it was ideal for. Short bus ride into the local town, made for a different day out. There was entertainment during the day for children which we didn’t fully utilise except for face painting around the pool, but lots of other, older kids made use of it at night time. Beach is short walk away with gorgeous shallow sea. Not busy at all and had option of renting sun beds for €19/day. Made for a nice change of scenery. The staff all round were great and very helpful. Absolutely would recommend this place, if you’re after a quiet, easy going holiday.
