Misty Valley Inn B&B

The house is beautiful, gorgeously decorated. The breakfast is amazing. The only thing is some rooms are quieter than others. The owners are aware and have placed noise machines in those 2 rooms. They are hoping to work on the issue. If you are a light sleeper, like me, it will be an issue. If you are like a normal person… should be no issue… or pick the rooms without sound issues.

My family and I stayed two nights last week while hiking in the area. The beds were comfortable, the bedding divine. The food was fantastic. We had the Moroccan omelet, Logger Pancakes, Triple Berry crepes. The owners were responsive and pleasant. As an added bonus, there were hummingbirds.

We were delighted with our stay from the easy check in to the delightfully appointed room, the home baked snacks and the marvelous view. Our breakfast was delicious and the hosts very attentive. We would come back in a heartbeat.

We stayed at the B&B for 2 nights, it was my first time ever staying in a B&B, the owners are very good communicators for checking in and making sure everything is set up well, it’s a no contact arrival and they give you great communication on everything from Where to park to how to find your room and everything in-between. The entrance with the wood carvings brings a smile to your face right as you enter and the home feels comfortable! Our room was so cute, we stayed in the English Suite, the bed was very comfortable, I love a softer bed. The room was spotless and they thought of everything, ear plugs, the main road can get a little loud, they also had a white noise machine in the room, and a few candy snacks near the bed. We did the romantic package with champagne and heart shaped cake pops, it was wonderful, the champagne was chilling in the room when we arrived. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, staff was wonderful and helpful and made everything perfectly. We chatted with the owner Tim in the mornings, he was great to talk to, we didn’t meet his wife Tricia but she sounds lovely as well, you can tell they are loving the new life adventure of owning a B&B our second evening we did enjoy sitting in the relaxing family room watching some tv and met some other guests. Not a lot of food choices in the area so starting the day with a amazing breakfast was wonderful and they had cookies and lemon bars and snacks out as well as coffee or tea. Also, breakfast watching the squirrels and stellar jays was a joy! We even saw a bald eagle fly in the distance. It was a birthday getaway I won’t forget!

An absolutely charming place just outside of Forks, with every possible detail considered. Newly refurbished, all of the bells and whistles and an absolutely delicious breakfast to top it all off. Super nice staff as well. Strongly recommended.

Misty Valley Inn is nestled in a wooded area off Highway 101, a short distance north of downtown Forks, and it is just the place you want to stop after a day of exploring the natural beauty of the Olympic Peninsula. This recently renovated inn is an oasis. Five impeccably appointed rooms are equipped with all the amenities you could want or need to feel at home - comfortable beds, fresh, soft linens, plush robes, a fireplace… it’s all here, and everything is spotlessly clean. There are also well-stocked common areas such as a TV room, a buffet area loaded with complimentary home-baked goodies for after dinner snacking, a coffee bar, and a terrace with a view of the valley below. The 3 course breakfast, included with the room rate, is top shelf – generous portions of delicious food, cooked to order. Many great choices were available, including omelettes, huge fluffy pancakes with fresh berries, crepes, etc. The hosts, Tricia and Tim, are helpful and friendly, and clearly take great pride in presenting such an exceptional lodging experience. Ask them where to go to see a herd of elk! ;-) We were delighted to find this wonderful inn, and look forward to returning on our next visit to the Olympic Peninsula.
