We bought and renovated this Folly ranch in fall 2019. There is a beach access path immediately out the front door, and from the backyard and back porch there are sweeping views of the marsh and Folly River.Upstairs has three bedrooms and one bathroom, plus a full kitchen, living room, and 500 sq foot back porch. Downstairs has a bedroom with a queen, a bonus room with a trundle bed, another full kitchen, a full bathroom, a spacious living room with foosball and a train table, and a covered back patio storage area. In the backyard there is a big enclosed outdoor shower and a trampoline and climbing dome (liability waiver required)You can walk to the beach in 60 seconds! This is a spacious vacation home, which is a rare find at Folly. You can have the best of both worlds! This home offers ample space to accommodate large gatherings but is cozy enough for those who wish to capture some quiet time. Our vacation home is only 200 steps to the beach and 9 short blocks to Center street. Whether you prefer relaxing at the beach, surfing at "The Washout" (which is just five blocks away), or are drawn to the hustle and bustle of Center Street, at days end, you can retire to the peace and tranquility of your vacation oasis. Our home has a generously sized great room with a large flat-screen SMART TV, 5 ample sized bedrooms with new queen-sized memory foam mattresses with all new fresh bedding (May 2020). Our home also has 4 full bathrooms.Our lower level is a dedicated 1300 SQF game room, 50 inch SMART TV, Poker table, Ping pong table, Air hockey, Foosball and a Kitchenette with the 4th full bathroom on this floor. If the weather doesn’t cooperate….no worries…you’ll still have fun hanging out on our updated, 700-square foot, fan cooled veranda. The concept came to us through customer feedback, extensive research, and many drinks. Riding the successful trend of our Tiny Shack and the increased interest in smaller, affordable beachside dwelling, we crafted these twin units just for your enjoyment in their own little compound right in the middle of the rest of our Shacks. If you have been inducted into the Sumo Wrestler Hall of Fame, or your significant other can install the Christmas star atop the tree without a ladder then this is not the place for you. Each of these micro units is approximately 11ft x 12 ft and sport a queen-size bed for your comfort, and brand new tile and glass appointed bathrooms, along with funky ceiling lines and headboards. An eat–in bistro style table or Al-Fresco set of chairs outside will give you the max relax dining experience you have been searching for. A dedicated outdoor shower (one for Itty and one for Bitty) lets you wash away the sand and surf, just in time to grill the burgers at the shared community grill in the back yard.
