Daphne Residence

NEGATIVES Arrived at 1am and ushered to apartment looking onto overgrown land but i had paid for pool view andhad to wait till next day when they decided to give what i paid for...they said hotel was full ! Stayed 11 nites and only cleaned apartment once and changed towels and sheets once but only after i complained. The bathroom and showers are gross and under the bed the dirt was disgusting. Its a 3 star and dont expect too much but clean is a must. POSITIVES Pool areas are quiet and plenty beds available but the grass is overgrown and it seems they gave up as its end of season. Its got a decent location . FINAL COMMENT NEED TO CLEAN THE ROOMS. NEED TO CLEAN THE POOL AREAS. iv been to calis 5 times and even if hotel/partments is old or tired they are always clean. I know its end of season but why should this matter.. Will go back to calis but not daphne residense so a generous 4/10 due to location.

Very enjoyable 2 night stay. The one beds are a decent size with lots of facilities. Rooms cleaned every 4 days, towels changed after 4 days also, no lifts, good wifi, 2 decent size pools, staff at reception friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Easy access to town.

Went in September 2024 to Dapne Residence as 3 couples in 3 different apartments. The apartments were clean & roomy with all necessary equipment supplied. There are two nice quite large pools with plenty of sunbeds. Daphne is ideally located - just across from the beach & close to water sport activities. The main promenade where the main restaurants are located is about a 15 minute walk away. Only one slight negative is the cost of the beer / snack food which was more expensive than other places close by.

Throughly enjoyed our stay at Daphne, everything you could want. Apartments are large and extremely clean! Pool area is equally the same, I Would recommend paying extra for the pool view apartments! And it’s Around a 5/10 min walk to the main front of calis with all the restaurants. Restaurant on site is owned by a separate company and although the food in there is delicious, it was let down by the service.

Just returned after 3 weeks and loved our apartment no issue with staff and they leave you alone to get on with your holiday although restaurant is a different company so can’t deal with issues re hotel. Loved quiet location and the campsites full of Turkish families as we walked through. This end of resort is quieter which we preferred can be a bit hectic up the other end where we stayed last year. Eat quite a few meals in Oben’s and drank in Lukka’s & Lee’s quite a bit.

A fantastic stay for our family of 5. Great apartment with everything you need self catering. Very clean, modern, large bathroom. Pools excellent, never any trouble getting sun loungers for everyone. Bar and restaurant staff lovely and helpful, food and drinks in there were very reasonably priced too. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Beach is 30 second walk with sunbeds and umbrellas to hire. Beach is quite dirty though, don’t think it’s looked after by anyone in particular other than the people using it. Would definitely stay again!! Jet 2 rep was very helpful and on hand if we needed her for anything. I would advise against making a trip to the blue lagoon, it was the busiest place I have ever been, literally standing room only. Only downsides were small balcony not big enough for us all, although other rooms do have larger balconies so you might get lucky. Also nowhere for us to shower on day of departure, our pick up is at 8:30pm and we have to vacate the room by 11am. They do offer an extension on rooms at £50 but there isn’t one available for us as they are fully booked. Great stay, kids loved it, we loved it!! Would definitely come back.

The hotel is nice and clean! It was defo the right choice but the hotel is nice and comfortable when the staff make it! The minute we walked in the place looked nothing like we imagined it was almost 3 am and the night staff receptionist was rude and arrogant! First time I went self catering and I asked the receptionist if he could grab us some water as I have little ones and it was really hot and I'll pay of course but he said sorry shops closed wake up and go tomorrow! I was shocked honestly! He also told me and my kids to carry my toddlers (twins fast asleep on the pushchair) and the luggage ourselves up the stairs to our apartment and walked off! He just couldn't be bothered and this attitude continued every night! He refused to help us when we did a big shop at the local market and 1 of the bags tore and he stood and watched as we grabbed the bits together! A total joke! There was no pool guard near the pools I was surprised as I've never seen such less staff in a hotel! No TUI rep on site and only on messages who tried to resolve some stuff that happened in the hotel but it's not good! I won't ever return to this hotel again based on customer service and I'll be thinking twice again as TUI has gone down really badly in customer support and thinking a £50 voucher will be a good compensation- no thanks! We flew with sun express and the two company are a nightmare to work with always book with 1 company for hotel and plane I've learnt too! I've flown for many years and this was the worst!

Fabulous stay at Daphne ! Had an excellent room with a sea view even though I was booked for land view. Clean apartments, very good location.. my only quarm hence 4 stars was the restaurant, miserable waiter and the food wasn't great, but there are hundreds of restaurants nearby so it didn't matter..I would definitely stay here again.. I love calis fethiye ❤️ it's great for families

Great location at Calis Beach, easily accessible to walk along the front to bars, restaurants and shops or the back road too has more local things. Dolmus just a two min walk away which you can get to Fethiye. Takes about 25 mins and cost 30 lira PP. The apartment itself was a one bedroom one and very clean and reasonably well equipped for what we needed. We did 9 nights, bedding changed once, towels three times. You need to empty own bins in between cleans but they supply bin bags so it take two mins to do, so no real issue with that. Reception staff very helpful and the night porter was great, we checked in at 1am and he carried our cases to the apartment, gave us a quick briefing etc, every time we saw him after that we got a happy wave and smile. Two pools, sunbeds always available no need to reserve. We would stay again.
