Florence Santa Maria Novella Hotels

I booked and used the hotel in advance for one night only. The location and cleanliness of the hotel was perfect. The quality of the front desk staff varied. The person who was on duty on the morning of April 10 was very courteous and helpful. On April 10 at 21:00, when I returned to the hotel, I greeted the staff at the front desk in Italian at the person to the right of the front desk at from the entrance said ”Ai-ya” to me. I'm Asian and not all Asians speak Chinese. I don't know why he had to say that word or what it means. The person who worked there in the morning was very polite. I was disappointed and felt uncomfortable. If you are going to work at the front desk, it would be better to hire educated people.

The hotel is super close to the train station, few steps away and near eateries. Note that there was no kettle in the room and we had to go to level 1 to get hot water.

the hotel is clean, modern and has good location as the tram is right outside. everything was great except that all my jewellery were stolen while i left my room to roam around the city. all my jewellery was worth at least Eur 3,000. i left them in a box which was placed in my luggage since there was no safe in my room. but when i came back to the room after a whole day out, all the jewellery were gone. the hotel managers were helpful initially, saying they would investigate and compensate me for my loss. but after i gave them all the receipts and credit card transactions of those items which were stolen from me, the managers just ignored my emails despite me trying to ask them for any updates on the progress of my case. at the very least, they could show me the cctv and allowed me to talk to the cleaner/staffs entering my room while i was away but that didn’t happen. i dont even know what is going on now that im already back to my home country, and the hotel did not even bother to update me anything even though they promised to investigate and compensate. hopefully, someone fm the hotel could see this and get back to me please! im honestly traumatised, nvr expected that my stuffs could be stolen right inside my room in a reputable hotel.

It’s located right across from the train station. Lots of cars and human traffic. WiFi worked well. No convenient store nearby at night. Our junior suite is roomy and sofa bed was reasonably good but It’s a bit dark even with all the lights on.

There is a water dispenser, a rooftop swimming pool, free coffee, chocolate and croissants in the morning, as well as a large refrigerator and a small kitchen, suitable for self-catering and staying for a few days. It is a pity that the wardrobe lacks hangers.

Hotel is near the railroad station which is good and bad. Train can be heard, there is not so much near the hotel. The hotel probably has the largest room and bathroom among all hotels i stayed this trip in Italy, but the worst breakfast period.

I only stayed one night, but it was a hotel I wanted to stay at for several nights! The hotel was a little far from the city center, so I had to walk or take public transportation to get anywhere, but the road was flat, so moving my suitcase around wasn't too difficult. The room was very clean and spacious, which made me excited. I had no trouble spreading out my suitcase and it didn't get in the way at all♪The shower room was also spacious. The only amenity was shampoo. However, when I turned on the shower, it came out of the shower on the ceiling first, so I screamed the first time I used it. Be careful (lol) The breakfast was in the semi-basement, but there were several types of croissants and bread, as well as bacon, ham and cheese, and some raw vegetables. I was very happy to see cherry tomatoes! There was also a whole wheat-like croissant that was delicious♪

Lovely hotel located 5 mins away from the train station. Rooms were clean, elegant and well equipped. Loved the small bar they provided. Had a small gym which has most of the usual equipment and a nice restaurant/bar at the ground floor. Best hotel so far from our trip to Italy!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Quite a walk to the attraction but easily accessible by taxi. The room is spacious and comfortable. Value for money!

Wyndham Garden feels like it should be 4 stars or above, but the room is too small and there are no supporting facilities except the restaurant. It is far from the city and the transportation is inconvenient and you can only take a taxi. It is suitable for the needs of the airport. The restaurant is good, breakfast is also available, and the front desk service is friendly. Similar to China’s full season
