We offer onsite laundry as well.Outside, we have an absolutely huge yard with two outdoor areas, each with their own firepit and mood lighting. And, since it is the Oregon coast, one of those is covered and includes a dartboard and drinks refrigerator. We also love dogs and are happy to host your four-legged friends (limit 2). It's a very quiet location and you'll sleep peacefully without the normal noises attributed to other places located next to late evening establishments.Florence is consistently one of the top-rated places to visit. It's the starting and ending point of those tough enough to ride their bicycles 3000+ miles across America. It's also the Sand Boarding capital of the world. Have you ever heard of the infamous Exploding Whale of Florence, look it up! How about the novel Dune? Yes, the inspiration for one of the most influential science fiction novels of all time came from here. Eight houses north of this house is Captain Cox's 1897 home. He was the one who discovered the world-famous Sea Lion Caves. There are also 13 lakes in the area and the Siuslaw River as well. Winter months, while normal drizzle is falling, are a good time to visit the local coffee shops. There are some exceptional souvenir shops and art galleries nearby. The main space includes a comfortable sitting area with two armchairs and side tables, a coffee table, and a massively oversized couch. It’s amazing!!! A sliding door leads to a deck in a fenced off portion of the backyard. The dining space includes a table for 4 and barstool seating for another 3 at the kitchen counter. There is a clip on high chair available for families with babies and toddlers. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes, cookware, and utensils you should need to prepare delicious meals. Essential items provided include paper towels, sponges, extra trash bags, detergent and soap, spices, salt & pepper, oil & vinegar, and a well stocked coffee and tea station. We provide a selection of Starbucks K-cup pods and Twinnings teabags, and an assortment of real and artificial sweeteners and creamers. There is a regular coffee maker available if you wish to bring your own grounds. All bedrooms closets include an extra blanket, a luggage rack, hangers, a laundry basket, and a fan(for white noise and air circulation if needed).
