While staying overnight at this location we checked in around 845pm. Once up in our room and settled in we noticed that the bathroom toilet had been clogged. I tried for 45 minutes alternating between calling the hotel number and the main desk and it was constantly busy. I went downstairs and asked for housekeeping which was I was advised was not on the premise. I suggested someone plunge the bathroom. The woman at the reception desk brought the plunger to me to plunge without even suggesting she take care of the issue. Needless to say I will no longer be staying at holiday inn hotels.

We arrived around 10p. The woman at the desk was not professional or friendly. I said hello we have a reservation. She replied last name. I said XXXX, she tapped away at the computer and said, another third party. I didn’t say anything. She made a comment about her stomach hurting. I said is there a problem. She said no. She asked the other woman that was behind the desk with her, do you have a room key for XXXX? She next said you wouldn’t it is third party. She next said I need your card for a $1 incidental on the room. I was confused on what she actually said. I said you need my card for what? She said I need o hold your credit card so if you damage my hotel room I’ll charge you. I couldn’t believe the manor this transaction was going. She help out our room cards and quick fired out what time breakfast and checkout were. We walked away. It the ok all my power to not walk out and go somewhere else. If the hotel was not so convent to 95 and so nice and clean, I would not be writing this review right now. We left around 7a the next day and the woman we saw at the front desk was so cheerful and professional. Would have rated this hotel higher but after a long drive it was so unfair to be treated like we were when we arrived and checked in.

The place is a nice clean stop along I95. The rooms in the front are more prone to road noise compared to the back of the hotel.

We checked into our room, which was dirty and not fully cleaned after previous guests. The floor had sticky spots and the bathtub was clearly not cleaned, with hair and dirt on the floor, plus a few hairs in one of the beds. The front desk attendants did everything they could to assist, but there were no other available rooms of similar size. There would be no credit or refund in moving to a smaller room, and because there was no manager on duty, there was nothing they could do. I spent over an hour of my night trying to sort through it before giving up and staying in the original room. ******* customer service was helpful, but also limited in what they could do with no manager on duty.

Travelocity card would not send payment to the hotel for me to check in. Although this was very inconvenient the receptionist was very nice and also the manager in the morning to get my reimbursement setup.
