This was a very lovely hotel, the staff were mostly happy and smiling, just a few didn't unfortunately. The location was right on the beach. This was my first holiday solo since I lost my husband, which is why I chose a smaller hotel. The food was average, a bit samey, disappointed there was only one fish, no shell fish, ie prawns or squid. I appreciate it is probably difficult to predict how much to cook and of what wiĺ be most popular. I questionnaire to visitors might not be a bad idea. You could buy some lobster or squid for an extra charge. The drinks were all great, a good choice, for coffees and cocktails. There was only one pool, which was adequate. I never found it difficult to find a sunbed at the pool or by the sea. The rooms were quite spacious, in need of some fine tuning, but apparently, it is closing in June for 4 months for a complete change and refurbishment. Disappointed that you don't have anything in your fridge, just in case you fancy something other than tea or coffee late at night. Toiletries were given, but it was quite difficult to squeeze out of the bottle, would recommend they used refil wall dispensers instead, would save the use of plastic and probably less waste. I will hopefully return again, and next time explore a bit more of the island, now that I am aware what it is like to be a solo traveller. The manager was very accommodating too. Thank you to Patrick at the bar. He always smiled even though he seemed very overworked. Room was cleaned daily. Lovely view with balcony. Room 210.
