Unfortunately, our stay at MMV Flaine was disappointing overall. While the hotel does have a great location with easy access to the slopes, and lunch was generally decent, those were the only real positives. Room 315 should definitely be avoided—it’s right next to the lift, and you can hear it operating all night long, making it really difficult to get any proper rest. The walls are paper thin, so you hear just about everything going on around you, including kids screaming at all hours. On top of that, the beds and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable, which only added to the lack of sleep. There was also a constant smell of drains in the building, which was unpleasant, and the overall décor is very tired and in need of a serious update. The food (aside from lunch) was disappointing with a poor selection and lack of variety. Sadly, we wouldn’t return or recommend it in its current state. There’s a lot of potential, but too many things need improvement.

I have stayed at this hotel previously on five occasions. It is convenient to the ski slopes and in the centre of Flaine. The ski boot room is heated and secure. Last few weeks in the season are AI. Top two floors are exclusive to Crystal, the other half of the hotel is split between French or other European groups. The entertainment is French orientated which some UK visitors really enjoyed. Rooms are great with mostly balconies and very good bathrooms, Thus year the quality of the food (adult food) at dinner times was really poor and repetitive. Desserts were excellent! Maybe pizza/pasta every night is fine for families wishing something simple, which was for us when we had young children. There was no orange juice for breakfast for example, otherwise breakfast was decent. Staff were very hard working and helpful. Our biggest issue was that we booked a room for 7 nights, yet the hotel decided to close early and left us to arrange another hotel for our final night with a few weeks notice . ******* were of zero help. MMV offered another resort, however we had transfers, lift passes and ski hire all arranged. MMV added additional stress that was avoidable, it is not easy to make a hotel change during a ski holiday, moving all the equipment somewhere else. We were refunded one nights stay. The neighbouring hotel Totem was exceptionally accommodating, allowing free early check in(6pm at MMV) and use of their boot room the night before.

Rooms are fine, strange late check-in (only from 18.00 onwards!) and early check-out (latest 09:00). Breakfast is excellent, we didn't use the lunch option and stayed at the piste. Buffet Dinner in the evening is limited and not great quality, except for the deserts. Bar area also used for entertainment, noisy and only in french, not comfortable if you don't join the entertainment and if you ar enot French!

A nice accommodation, excellent food , very good space for skis and warm shoes !! Very friendly staff. Although our room was very nice, I don’t like the “bauhaus” style. In wintersport areas I like more the wood and cosy furnishings !

MMV Le Flaine is basic, with helpfull and freindly staff, good buffet for breakfast and dinner and good location in Flaine. Downside was the beds being too soft, with poor pillows and too small for me (5ft11), room was too hot,no way to moderate temperature, sewage smell in the room and in the hallway (3rd Floor).We liked it and would concider coming again if the price is competative understanding we will not be spending much time inside.

Excellent in every respect… will definitely come back here again. From the fabulous Boot Warmers through to the wonderful food, it was a truly memorable holiday… thank you. All the staff were both courteous & helpful. Everything — particularly the Restaurant — ran like a very well-oiled machine.

My family of three plus a friend and her daughter stayed during February. The accommodation was exactly what you want for a ski trip. Rooms were cleaned daily - towels changed 3 times during the week. Room was good size with more cupboard space than we’ve previously had in ski hotels. The bar was good to relax and play cards in the evening. Boot room was great - plenty of space. No complaints whatsoever. Good was varied and catered well for vegetarians. Staff were friendly and helpful. Short walk up from the slopes -approximately 3-5 minutes depending on how tired your legs are at the end of the day. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Ah we loved this place! Food was excellent, as was the bar and the staff. We had a great holiday. It's a shame that the pack lunch isn't included in the all inclusive anymore, as we didn't always want to go back for lunch. Although lunch was amazing. So are the cocktails at the bar. There was one thing that ruined our holiday and I wish we'd taken a couple of reviews on here more seriously and maybe we could have avoided this. We all got norivirus. Went down with it one by one, which did mean we lost time on the slopes. I wish we'd used hand gel (which we had with us) before every meal and after. Lots of other families also had it. If there's been hand gel around he hotel and used more it might have stopped it spreading.
