Romantic Tuscan villa with magnificent views of the valley and pool in an olive garden. You shouldn't expect luxury and impeccable cleanliness, but there is enough of a romantic mood. Everything is quite worn and many places could use some repair and updating, but overall it's still in tolerable condition. The pool is surrounded by olive trees. The pool is not very big, but big enough to swim a little. There aren't many sunbeds right by the pool, but there are plenty of sunbeds further out in the olive trees. From time to time, the horsefly attacked quite actively, especially when you got out of the pool while wet, but this problem is everywhere in rural areas. There is also a small SPA on site, with an indoor pool and saunas, but this indoor pool is not big enough to swim in. For breakfast, both salty and sweet food is offered, but the selection is quite small and the better pastries are only enough for the first ones, they are not brought any more later. Ready-made pot coffee is poor, but you can also order freshly made machine coffee, but it wasn't the best either. The dinner was good, but based on the previous very positive reviews, I expected more. The staff was pleasantly friendly. We didn't really like the first room, it was a good size and had a spacious bathroom, but compared to the advertised pictures it was rather modest in finish and I didn't like the handicap sink. The next day the room was changed and we really liked the new room, although the bathroom was extremely small. Parking is in the garden below, and it is very inconvenient to go up the narrow stairs on the hillside with suitcases, but for this, drive up to the reception door at the beginning and park the car downstairs after unloading your luggage. About 15 minutes drive from the highway. The famous The Mall outlet is also about 15 minutes drive away. As a compliment, drinking water in the room would have been very welcome. There was no possibility to make tea and coffee in the room.

Villa La Borghetta Resort exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and stunning views took our breath away. The rooms are beautifully decorated with gorgeous views of the Tuscan hills, and the amenities are top-notch. We loved relaxing by the pool, enjoying the spa, and indulging in delicious Italian cuisine at the restaurant. The peaceful, serene atmosphere made our stay truly magical. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a luxurious escape in Tuscany!

We were so excited to stay at a unique hotel in Tuscany but It was an absolute disappointment. The photos on their website must be from 20 years ago as nothing looked like it at all. Everything is old, run down, dirty. Rooms are full ants and bugs. Bathroom and the shower are full Of mold. Furniture is old, discolored and dirty. Beds are uncomfortable. The manger is an angry man that wants to fight with everyone as no one is not allowed to make a complaint. No one ever answers the phone and when they do, if U have a request, U must go down stairs to get it. For a simple soap, we had to call numerous times and then go to reception to pick it up. Do not go there, you be better off burning your money in a fireplace and enjoying the flames.

What a shame. It's a beautiful resort in a beautiful location, but the service was utterly terrible. It took us 3 hours on a 34 degree day to get to the resort. It would have been nice to have been greeted with a glass of water. The receptionist took our IDs, checked us in and vaguely gave us directions to our room. The air conditioning unit is insufficient for the room size and requires a card to keep it running whilst not in the room. We were only issued with one card. The resort was severely understaffed. This was clearly visible initially when we went in for our treatment. One employee was performed the treatment for the both of us at the same time. After this was completed, we went back to our room and received a tiny fruit platter and prosecco that was promised on arrival. We returned downstairs for our 30 minute massage, which lasted only 20 minutes. Further evidence of the facility being understaffed was evident at the in-house restaurant. There was one waiter without shoelaces who sparingly decided when he would make an appearance and take some orders. There was also one runner for the entire restaurant. This process took over 2 hours, and because the staff were overworked, the customer service was terrible. The bed was hard and the pillows were flat. The following morning, while waiting for breakfast, we were greeted by a very rude and arrogant man stating in front of the other patrons that we had provided incorrect forms of ID, as we were international travellers. It was embarrassing as we were sent off to get copies of our passports. This was such a stressful experience. The complete opposite of what we came for. We travelled from australia - this was the worst experience. Upon checkout, we were charged €8 for one bottle of water and service charge?

Abbiamo trascorso un weekend rilassante e piacevole. Servizio Spa eccellente, personale professionale. Cena deliziosa e particolare. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

Abbiamo usufruito di un pacchetto smart box regalato che includeva un pernottamento con prima colazione e un messaggio di coppia. La location è immersa nel verde tra alberi e ulivi quindi fa ben sperare. Alla reception l'accoglienza è stata minimale senza troppi sorrisi. La stanza in mansarda, datata e non troppo pulita. La zona spa molto piccola e poco curata. Personale poco cordiale e disponibile, si è salvato solo il cameriere della cena attento e professionale. Colazione inesistente alle 9.10 non c'era quasi più nulla ( la colazione è dalle 8 alle 10). Un plauso allo chef e alla massaggiatrice, il resto tutto un po' da rivedere soprattutto la cordialità verso l'ospite.
