Fernvale Hotel Motel

Mostly enjoyed our meals and the live music made for a nice atmosphere. The meals arrived separately everybody enjoyed their food. Had to place plates on other tables as nobody came to clear the plates, noticed plenty of abandoned tables still with glasses and plates with half eaten food. Upon arrival had trouble getting into the womans loo's as they were all occupied. I kept walking back between the two options. I could hear somebody talking on the phone in the loo on the inside woman's toilet. Turned out after more than 15 minutes a staff member came out. I was surprised at the level of vape odour in the toilet especially as one of our family members has a baby and it had the only change table. I was further surprised to find the same staff member leaning back on the counter just steering into her phone? The rest of the staff were super friemdly. Glad I don't own the pub.Our first visit. Not sure if we will return?

Wow what surprise we were not expecting much How lovely the staff are and happy to chat Well the food was fantastic 2 meals for u der 40 bucks wow and fresh was lovely I had the parmi so thick and fresh He had steak melted in his mouth and salad was fresh and had lovely dressing 10/10

I booked 3 rooms for 3 nights for a family stay to attend a Farm Wedding nearby. I could not have been happier with everything about the hotel/motel. Really friendly helpful Manager and staff. Motel rooms were really clean and well-appointed with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and hairdryer. Closeness of the hotel for lunch and dinner was great. Food was also very good with a good choice. Also great bakery just next door and quaint cafes nearby. Woolies and chemist just across the road. I highly recommend this very comfortable country hotel/motel.

Marie continued to be so lovely and looked after not only with room service (excellent), booking us in for an extra night, and helping out in the restaurant and bar. She was so multi talented. Rob was terrific behind the bar, so effervescent. He obviously loves his role. The meals were wonderful per Amanda the chef. We enjoyed every mouthful! Also thanks to Tilly and Tamika well done. All in all we had a wonderful time made all the more special by the staff. P.S. Country hospitality 100%
