Villa Francesca Relais

The positives ….beautiful place, the pool area is stunning and the views are amazing. Location is good, close to the castle and lovely towns within a short drive. Decor is good, apartment is very clean and modern. A really beautiful place The negatives…we were staying in the biggest room / apartment. So we didn’t get breakfast included like the other guests. That’s fine, we had our own kitchen. But then again, we paid more for it so I think breakfast would have been nice to be included. Even just once or twice (stayed for a week). But the biggest issue we had was being told we shouldn’t be in the main building. We couldn’t sit in the lounge area or walk through it, that was for other guests. Which is in conflict with the information on their own website. I think we saw them fuss over the other guests at breakfast, and it just felt like we weren’t as appreciated as the guests which was frustrating as we splurged on this accommodation in comparison to everywhere else we stayed during our Italy holiday. The flat was a little small too, plus the outdoor private terrace was completely overlooked by another rooms balcony. Though luckily they didn’t use it much I think it’s probably a wonderful place for a couple to stay, lots of positives and beautiful setting, stunning pool area. Also, our Italian isn’t great so that didn’t help us in chatting to hosts and getting a rapport. But I honestly felt it was a bit overpriced compared to the service we experienced. I think maybe not the most family friendly Maybe all just a language barrier (but then again, the guy who runs the place told us on the first day that his wife had better English so she’d come and chat to us that day). She never came the whole week to see how we were. I’m not expecting them to speak English, we could muddle through. But she just didn’t come and welcome us or answer our issues I just hope the owners read this and take it on board as I think it has so much potential and is a wonderful, beautiful place. I just felt a little let down

This place is incredible, tucked away from the madness of the riviera and yet close enough to the sea. The building itself is unique, and the decor is fantastic. The food is excellent, and the room is spotless and classy. The host, Mr R., ensured that all our needs were met and every detail was taken care of. We had a great time and will go back soon.

My wife and I spent two wonderful days at Villa Francesca Relais. Our hosts could not do enough for us, providing us with a beautiful late lunch on arrival, selecting a lovely bottle of wine, with amazing views of Gradara castle. Recommendations were provided for dinner, our hosts booking the restaurants for both nights. The room was perfect - luxurious, peaceful, fabulous bed and superb views. We could not recommend Villa Francesca more highly and really look forward to returning for a longer visit.

From the structure itself (built 3 yrs ago) to the furniture and artwork, everything is well appointed and beautifully adorned. By far, the most comfortable bed and pillows we’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The rooms have names, but aren’t referenced on the website. Ours was Ofelia (a junior suite) and it connected to Beatrice. Along with Aurelia and Penelope they look toward the pool. The other rooms (Lavinia, Ottavia, Francesca & Flamingo) have a view of the castle. It was very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the pool, especially during the hot afternoons. One of the owners brought drinks out to some of the guests. One point of clarification from their website: it features a restaurant, but it’s not open to the public and they only serve breakfast and lunch.

Come siete stati? Cosa dire…. Siamo stati in paradiso. Villa Francesca Relais incarna alla perfezione il luogo di cui si ha bisogno per rigenerarsi dalla frenesia della vita di tutti i giorni. Se desiderate vivere un’esperienza che celebra l’amore per l’eleganza ,la cucina e la natura è il luogo perfetto, la vista del castello di Gradara e del mare rendono ogni momento il verso di un poema e ad ogni occhiata viene regalato il fotogramma di un panorama stupendo. Le stanze sono uniche,ognuna diversa e la cura interna dei dettagli e’ elegantemente maniacale. Il materasso è una nuvola. Non sono camere e nemmeno suites, sono microcosmi confortevoli. Al suo interno oltre ad un Dehors con una piscina relax di ottimo design c’è anche un ristorante vero e proprio e qui ancora una sorpresa….. La cucina dello chef è un vero tripudio di idee e sapori unici, crea piatti che narrano percorsi di vita e storie di rivisitazione e creatività da cui ci si può solo far trasportare. Soggiornare o meglio vivere Villa Francesca Relais è un’esperienza totale. Un ambiente elegante può mettere in soggezione , Non qui, ove l’accoglienza stessa e’calorosa e rende ogni pasto e ogni passo un momento speciale. Chef Cristian Cesarini è un istrione della cucina, capace di rendere ogni pasto un percorso di vita e condivisione della passione per il cibo. Il padrone di casa MR.Ranieri è fantastico insomma , un duo che vi auguro di conoscere. Premura, disponibilità , tanta simpatia, vi metteranno a vostro agio. Difficile pensare che esista un posto Così. Nelle colline di Fanano c’è . A presto. Grazie Signori/Amici.

Siamo stati ospiti in questa meravigliosa villa con vista sul castello di Gradara ,uno spettacolo ad ogni angolo .Tutto curato alla perfezione dal signor Ranieri ,grande cultore di gusto e raffinatezza ! Tutto al top ! Aggiungo grande pulizia e grande cortesia ! Lo consiglio a tutti per trascorrere anche solo una notte da mille una notte ! Indimenticabile!

Nach langer Suche fanden wir diese tolle Designperle in der Nähe von Cattolica an der Adriaküste. Das auf einem Berg gebaute Relais ist 5km von der Küste entfernt und hat einen tollen Ausblick auf die umliegenden Hügel und das Meer. Die Gastgeber sind überaus herzlich und lesen einem förmlich die Wünsche von den Augen ab. Die Anlage hat einen tollen Pool mit Panoramablick und ist das Gegenteil vom Massentourismus an der Küste der Adria! Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!
