Das PERSONAL war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das ZIMMER war sehr sauber und gemütlich – vor allem das BETT fand ich persönlich sehr gemütlich. Die SAUNA Landschaft ebenfalls schön und sauber. Ein kleiner Abzug für die Berge an Handtüchern, die dann sich dann am späten Abend in den Körben sammelten und die Pappbecher am Wasserstand, die nicht besonders nachhaltig sind. (Glas ist für die Saunalandschaft sicherlich auch keine Option, aber wiederverwendbare Becher vielleicht). Das FRÜHSTÜCK Buffet war von Fruchtig bis deftig gut bestückt und das Hotel RESTAURANT war ebenfalls lecker – es empfiehlt sich jedoch auch als Hotelgast für den Abend einen Tisch zu reservieren. Die UMGEBUNG ist optimal für Wanderungen, einen Besuch auf der Zugspitze, dem Eibsee etc. Fazit: Jederzeit wieder gerne – wenn man in die Ecke GAP will.

We thought this was an excellent hotel - the rooms were very comfortable (with a sensational view), the staff were friendly and the quality of the food was brilliant. The hotel is nicely situated for Garmisch Partenkirchen and Oberammagau

The location is amazing! Very silence and very beautifull. Very cosy rooms. The staff is polite, especially Atanas and him team from restaurant. I will recomend this place to everybody! The breakfast and the drinks are high quality. Very suatable for kids!

I booked this hotel through the Oberammergau Passion Play. I had no idea what to expect. The hotel was lovely. The staff is exceptionally helpful. The decor is lovely, very Tyrolean. My room was small and in the back of the old building, and I could not have been more pleased. There was a balcony. Across a small bridge was a meadow where the goats pastured. The gentle tinkle of their bells was very calming. The bed and bedding could not have been better. I was so pleased to have an actual shower! ( I don't have a handle on the hand held sprays found in many hotels and tend to flood the bathroom.) While small, there was plenty of room for everything. (It was a little odd to have an actual key. It took some getting used to.) I cannot rave about the breakfast enough. I tend to stay in 4 &5 star hotels and the breakfast is a good as any. The selection was excellent. The food was fresh. The breads were fantastic. The dinners were all included in my Passion Play package. They were quite good, but I imagine that when one orders from a menu, the meals are better than quite good. The waitstaff is excellent. The surrounding grounds are beautiful. It really is difficult to leave them. The views are gorgeous. The bus stop is just down the hill from the hotel. It is easy to get to Oberammergau or Schloss Linderhoff. The only drawback is that the hotel is up a hill. It isn't a problem if you are driving, but it is a steep set of stairs with a suitcase if you take the bus. A taxi is just 19€ from Oberau station. It is well worth the money.

All in all a nice place to stay. The restaurant had really good food, and the staff at the hotel and restaurant was welcoming and nice. The hotelroom did not have aircondition, and it was over 30 degrees celsius in our room at most (which made it difficult to sleep at night).
