A lovely and cozy hotel and I always enjoy the quietness in the area as well as the nice lake view next to it. Staff are very helpful and always smile.

During check in we were given the impression the hotel restaurant took walk in customers starting from 5pm. But when we actually went there, they told us we needed a reservation. As if it was obvious. The breakfast was by far the worst of any Finnish hotel we have stayed. Stale bread, a coffee machine that appeared to be ”in cleaning” but actually wasn’t working at all. Then they ran out of drip filtered coffee on top of that. Unfortunately no vegan breakfast options (apart from the obvious vegetables and bread) Bottles in the shower had grime and someone’s hair on them, minifridge was dirty inside. Reception staff was nice and location is convenient, rooms have balconies which is nice. Even the key card was dirty.

When we checked in, the staff were very polite and professional. Of course they recommended their restaurant and advised us that it opens at 17:00. When it came to dinner time, the restaurant was fairly empty but the staff kept asking us “do you have a reservation”, as if we had walked in to a busy restaurant in the middle of Helsinki on a Friday. Because in that case, of course you would need a reservation. Turns out, they were entirely booked out, unless we wanted to pay the $20 for the “Jazz Show” which was no where near starting. Our hopes were very low for breakfast and this hotel managed to go lower. The coffee machine appeared to be “in cleaning mode”, but was actually broken, with no sign. The drip filtered coffee was good, but they ran out of that within 10 minutes. The bread was all pre cut, and therefore stale. It had clearly been sitting in the open air for quite some time. We were expected to provide a “breakfast ticket”, but we were not given one. I get the impression that the management of this establishment are all about “getting the customers in” but failing to meet the minimum standards. We come to Helsinki region a lot and this was our first time in Espoo. It wasn’t a good one.

Customer service is simply terrible. Avoid this place if you can. Had some nice/decent experiences with this hotel earlier, but the recent one was so unpleasant I will probably just stay away. There are plenty of other hotels around this area.

Location so bad. WLAN doesnt work at whole week. Renevation next door. Everyone talks: WLAN dont work. Breakfast is so terrible. Dirty halls. WLAN WLAN wlan dont work. They advertise: so fast internet connection. But thats so bull s’’’! Unbelieve!

Everything in this hotel is half-way. The breakfast is really cheap (boiled eggs hard and cold, powder for the scrambled eggs, cheap salami etc.). Housekeeping every three days. Outdated advertisments in lifts (aspargus season was over in June). But: Good beds and pillows, and sleeping was the main object, so…

This hotel is centrally located next to the Tapiola Keskusallas pool where people are riding SUP boards in summer and skating in winter. Nearly all rooms have a balcony. We booked a Superior King room from a sale for 114 euros. Our room was ready on arrival at 12:15. This time we got a room on the 2nd floor with a bigger balcony. The room decor needs some updating but everything worked. What has been a real change for the better is that Sokos hotels have finally stopped offering these hard-to-use small single packages of bath products. Now they have high-quality Lumene products from pump bottles. The breakfast was well organized and it was easy to find a table although the hotel was quite fully booked. While checking in, you will get a slot for the breakfast. We opted for the last slot at 9:45.

One night stay in the middle of the week. Clean place and clean rooms. Pretty quiet, maybe there wasn't too many customers at the time I was there. Breakfast was also fully OK, regular Scandinavian one. Friendly staff both at the reception and at breakfast.
