Royal Luxury Camp

What an incredible experience this was. Hafid and his staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The setting was spectacular and peaceful. The staff was so friendly and hospitable. The drum circle was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We enjoyed learning about the culture. A once in a lifetime experience.

We're glad to have had the experience, but it was not all that was promised. Pros: We arrived earlier than expected and were able to get a light lunch and be shown to our rooms without difficulty. Electricity in the tents as promised and beds very comfortable. Lovely sunset camel ride. Food was very good. Evening entertainment - signing, music, and some dancing around the fire - was good and the staff very friendly. Sandboarding available on a "bunny hill" next to camp. Cons: The driver arranged by the camp from Errachidia to the camp's meeting point (Dream Cafe in Merzouga) was overpriced and did not make the stops we requested (among other things, we requested picking up water as a first stop; we eventually got water a couple of hours later after several reminders). One stop he did make was for some head scarfs that we were interested in, but at a place that was extremely overpriced (you can get them cheaper anywhere else without bargaining). The driver talked on the phone while driving much of time (not about to anything related to our trip), and drove substantially over the speed limit. He was friendly, but I cannot recommend him. Only 1 of our party of 4 got a hot shower. Another tried both in the evening and again in the morning and only got cold water both times. One of the reasons we selected this camp was that they said there would be heat in the tents. There was not. Visit to nomad family occurred, but we didn't actually get to speak to the family as we expected, only to see a bit of their camp and have a cup of tea with little explanation and no interaction.

Siamo stati in questo splendido camp solo una notte, posto suggestivo personale molto accogliente e premuroso , le tende sono grandi e il bagno è molto spazioso. Andare sulle dune con la tavola è un Esperienza da consigliare. Cucina buona…

J’attendais beaucoup de ce séjour dans ce camp et ça a clairement été à la hauteur de mes espérances, voir plus ! Le personnel est très sympa et très accueillant. La cuisine est excellent et c’est copieux. Il est très facile d’aller se promener dans les grandes dunes juste à côté. Bref c’était vraiment top je recommande à 100%

Struttura elegante e dotata di tutti i confort, consegna momenti indimenticabili agli ospiti che tra una passeggiata in groppa ad un dromedario, una chiacchiera intorno al fuoco alla luce delle stelle e le visite guidate dall'ottimo Hfid, ci obbligano a pensare di ritornare presto.

Siamo arrivati in tempo per vedere il tramonto con una passeggiata a dorso di cammello. Esperienza molto bella e suggestiva. La struttura è molto bella, le tende confortevoli. La cena è servita vicino al campo tende, ed è abbastanza soddisfacente. Ma ciò che colpisce maggiormente è il silenzio e la magia del deserto, che rendono questa esperienza super consigliabile.
