The lodge is luxury I don't normally experience in remote outback Australia. The rooms are very generously sized with a well stocked kitchenette and super clean bathroom, plenty of storage for clothes as well. There is a shared living area, full kitchen, outdoor dining area, and fire pit. My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights as part of the Natural history museums' dino package which included a bbq and stargazing kit + tour on our first morning followed by a fossil preparation day course. The whole package was worth it for stellar accommodation, a dinner we didn't need to organise ourselves, and already planned activities. You are still a 5 minute drive from being in town for food options and fuel. Bonus, the museum has a cafe so you can walk (or drive) over and get a barista made coffee in the morning. Super friendly and helpful staff, we arrived 2 hours early and on request were able to be let in our room on arrival. Would definitely stay again if were in that part of the world in the future, even if we weren't visiting the museum (but I do recommend it) the accommodation stands on its own.
