Sea Lagoon Health Resort

Location: excellent. Breakfast: Awful. Services: Awful. Pool: Dirty, hardy cleaned or maintained well. General cleanliness: Poor. Our one night stay with 5 adults one kid in three rooms were poorly served. Even after agreed with the hotel manager Avijeet, that we will clear all the bills at the time of check out, receptionist Feema harrrased us to make the payment immediately after arrival. Thankfully lunch was good which we paid on top. However snacks & breakfast was awful. Hardy any options. Nothing served was kid friendly. Tea & coffee was also poor. Pool was filled with dead ants, insects & sand from the beach. They definitely don't clean regularly. After multiple reminders they cleaned somehow during our stay. With the great Location the property have enough room for improvement in the above areas. I personally won't recommend this till they decide to get better.

Didn’t stay in the hotel, thank goodness, but we went for drinks and dinner last night. Absolutely shocking is the only thing I can politely say to sum it up. In order of events: insufficient tables for guests and visitors, staff running around but ineffective, took 20 mins to get a menu, placed order for 2 drinks and waited another 20 mins with 2 verbal reminders before drinks arrived, perused menu and told ourselves the very ineffective staff were under pressure with their 28 diners and 5 of them (!), agreed to sit outside as no available tables, asked 3 times if we could order food, twice a particular waiter came but couldn’t understand English so he just went away again, decided to persue (had been recommended as food good), observed demeanor of waiting staff viewed as bad as they ignored hotel guests trying to get food or a table, flagged another waiter for a round of drinks and asked again if we could order, just as we were walking out our drinks arrived so we agreed to stay and drink them with one final try, eventually 2.5 hrs later gave up and walked out completely sick of staff walking past us and ignoring us, went to reception to complain. There was a Manager at Reception who had been hovering around the dining areas earlier, he was bemused by my very clear synopsis of the events that had unfolded, but clearly didn’t or didn’t want to, understand. He scuttled off to the dining room to bring a waiter to answer, leaving the poor male receptionist to deal with the matter. Clearly shell shocked and bemused, he had no chance against what I must admit, was my lucid rant, about the shocking service this overpriced hotel were charging, and the complete lack of awareness of guests needs.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and my experience was below average. The management's cost-cutting measures were evident everywhere, compromising the quality of services. The breakfast spread was limited, with barely any vegetarian options. The hotel's inability to provide basic South Indian dishes like idli, dosa, or sambhar was surprising. Even simple requests, like adding a bread slice to an omelette, were denied. Only white bread was available. They were serving tea and coffee in disposables. The hotel's maintenance was also poor. Water supply was interrupted for three hours, and hot water was unavailable afterward. Mosquitoes infested the rooms, making our stay uncomfortable. The dinner service was slow due to shortage of staff, and the overall experience was marred by poor management at all levels.
