H2 Hotel Erfurt

Very impressed with this modern, brand new and very large hotel. Staff at reception were friendly and professional. Room is the perfect size for 2 people and designed really well for a one or two night stay, I say for a short stay as not much storage, only open hanging with 4 hangers, no drawers, fridge or safe. It is about a 7 minute walk to the main centre of town but lots of cafes and bars just outside the door. If you did not want to venture out you could get certain hot snacks here and what looked like a 24/7 drinks bar for beers, wine and soft drink, payable on a screen with credit card which opened the various fridge doors once you had made your selection, even various glasses to put them in so no need to drink out of the bottle and then a small lounge area near reception to sit and chat. We had a king size bed, good air conditioning which we were thankful for on a day that reached temperatures of nearly 40 degrees! Design unusual but works very well with separate bathroom, shower cubicle with good shower and sink area so you are not getting in each others way at any point. Bed had cotton sheets and was pretty comfortable. Extremely quiet, assume they must have wonderful sound proofing. Our room was a bit awkward to get to, room 262 which was take the elevator to the first floor, get out and turn left and walk all the way down the corridor until you see another elevator and then use this to get to the 2nd, 3rd or 4th floor. They have their own area of parking in the underground car park -2 and direct access into the hotel from there, they give very good instructions on their site as to how to get there. You pay in the car park (licence plate recognition) so you can use other parts of the car park if no room and no special hotel rates, although their area was pretty large. Breakfast was on the first floor, large dining room and was very good, not elaborate, but had all the usual stuff along with hot items. Would recommend.

Sehr zentral gelegen. Zimmer ohne Sessel, nur einen Hocker ohne Lehne. Wie soll ich darauf bequem sitzen und wo die 2. Person? Frühstück echt mies. Brötchen geschmacklos und hart aufgebacken. Thüringer Wurst?, eher billigste Massenware. Nur Scheibenkäse. Marmelade im Discounter schmeckt besser. Kaffee ☕️ ist gut.

Neues und modernes Hotel, dass fußläufig vom Hauptbahnhof erreichbar ist. Es gibt auch ein Parkhaus. Unser Zimmer war klein und modern. Bad und Dusche sind direkt im Raum und nur die Toilette ist abgetrennt. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und wie in einer Art SB-Restaurant bei dem man auch sein Geschirr selbst abräumen muss. Das Personal war leicht überfordert und konnte einige Dinge nicht zeitnah nachlegen. Es war zweimal das gleiche Buffet aufgebaut jedoch wurde eins eher abgeräumt. Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig. Man kann die Altstadt und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Vor der Tür fährt die Straßenbahn und unten im Haus ist ein Rewe. Im Foyer gibt es kostenlose Schließfächer für das Gepäck. Insgesamt hat alles gepasst.

neues hotel, im april 2025 in dom nähe eröffnet; nette begrüßung von freundlichem personal, das personal im allgemeinen freundlich und hilfsbereit; die zimmer ok, wc getrennt von waschraum und dusche; frühstück ausreichend; getränkeautomat in der lobby, kuchenverkauf nur mit kartenzahlung ☝️

Das Hotel bietet sich an als Ausgangspunkt Erfurt zu erkunden und zu erleben. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmäßig. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr reichhaltig und nimmt Rücksicht auf unterschiedliche Ernährungsformen. Der Raum ist hell und übersichtlich. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen
