Ibis Budget München Airport Erding

Gute Lage in der Nähe der Therme Erding. Zum übernachten gut geeignet.

Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆ (0 Star) My stay at Ibis Budget Munich Airport, Erding, on June 26, 2025, was a total rip-off! 😤 I booked via CHECK24.de, paying 107 € upfront (Booking #8697ZFP576). At 23:35 check-in, with over 20 people crowding reception, the clueless staff told me to wait for the self-check-in machine until midnight. I did as instructed, waited 25 minutes, and got slammed with another 107 € charge on my card – no warning, no clarity! 💸😠 This is straight-up double billing for one night – feels like fraud to me! 😡 I emailed the hotel on July 4, 2025, demanding my money back, but as of July 13, 2025, they’ve completely ignored me – pathetic for an Accor brand! 📧 This place is a disgrace to Accor! 👎 I’ve reported this to the German Consumer Protection Agency, contacted Accor’s HQ, and tried a chargeback with my bank (ING-DiBa), which was denied over some BS about “different merchant names.” I’m blasting this on Trustpilot, Google, and TripAdvisor to save others from this scam. ⚠️ Advice: Stay away from this hotel unless you want to get screwed over! 😤 Book somewhere else to avoid losing money and your brain. 🚨

Hotel rooms were clean and tidy .you can reach airport by car within 30 minutes and by bus within an hour. You have a bus stop which is walkablefrom hotel. Lot of Restaurant available nearby, including Mc Donald. Erding location is also beautiful.

Expensive for a budget hotel in the sticks. Shower did not have warm water, we annoyingly ended up skipping showering. Otherwise, the room was fine and reception staff friendly. Their bag storage was nice and secure since we were spending a day at the Therme. In terms of transportation it seems convenient by car but awful to get to otherwise. We wanted to take the bus to the airport but would’ve had to wait at least an hour, or walk 30 minutes to an alternate route. We called an Uber but had to cancel because it was going to be a 25 minute wait. No Bolt or Lyft here either. Only option was a cab which cost 40€ to drive 10 minutes to the airport. Insane that it was that expensive, be forewarned.

Matthias will probably be the first person you encounter at Reception, and he's a total star! He's a warm and friendly guy and will make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. He processed my arrival swiftly and answered all my questions perfectly. My room was clean and comfortable and very welcome after a stressful journey. The hotel provides a great unlimited breakfast which is highly recommended. All in all this is a fantastic hotel which offers great value for money and a very happy experience.

Hotel standard, senza infamia e senza lode. Molto comodo per andare in aeroporto il giorno dopo, dotato di ampio parcheggio gratuito nei dintorni dove si possono trovare negozi e punti ristoro. Camere minimaliste ma fanno il loro per la notte e c'é la possibilitá di comunicare internamente con altre stanze e creare cosi camere famigliari. Lo ho usato spesso per prendere il volo da Monaco e l'ultima volta é stato difficile in quanto c'era una gita scolastica di ragazzi adolescenti e fino alle 1 del mattina hanno urlato e sbattuto porte senza che nessuno intervenisse. Possibilitá di fare la colazione in Hotel ma é piuttosto cara, conviene il MC Cafe di fronte.
