A lovely, family-run hotel in Entrève, approx 3km from the centre of Courmayeur. Stayed for a weeks snowboarding / skiing and had a relaxing stay. Warm welcome & friendly / helpful, multilingual staff. Limited, but delicious breakfast (as based around the traditional Italian coffee & pastry start to the day). Personally not keen on not being allowed to serve myself. However, the freshly-squeezed OJ was amazing!!! The daily 4 course dinner was tasty & filling, with the home-made tiramisu getting a special mention, but I found the 8pm start a little late. It is a bit of a pain having to get the (free) shuttle or bus to/from the cable cars, but as long as you time it ok, not so bad. Unlike other ski hotels I’ve stayed in, it was nice that the room wasn’t too hot, but just a comfortable temperature. There was plenty of (drying) space / hangers for wet kit & the housekeeping team were exceptional, making my room immaculate & a pleasure to come back to. Would definitely come again.
