My family and I stayed at your hotel Sunday the 4th of May for one night. I am sending you this before I post it for the public. I am a strong believer on feedback, and in giving the heads up to the business I review, so they have a chance to respond. When we were researching for accommodation, we were looking for a location that has a leasure centre of the kids as part of the hotel. Your hotel came up. Your hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel with a leasure centre. Only when you go in and read through your website, you find out that the leasure centre is not part of the hotel but a separate business all together. It is not in the very expensive price for the room. It is extra. To make up for this, the hotel gives you a voucher to spend at the hotel? Only when I sent feedback to the management, I was told the voucher can go towards the price of the room. This sounds like a "scam" deal the hotel has with the business across the way to spend more money there. Not quite fair. I would suggest you offer the voucher for the leasure centre so the guest don't need to pay for it. This way, you might get away with advertising as if you offer this facilities. So far you do not. The other thing, it is not just across the road. It is like going to your local leasure centre where you have to walk across the read, on a lane way, across a carpark. Again, no where near a part of the hotel. Now, disabled facilities. None that I could see. If you do have it, it is not obvious at all. If one needed to get in, do they have to shout at the reception person that is on the other side of the doors, up the stairs? Now, THE ROOM! We walked in it was soooo hot. The corners of the single beds looked like they had been there for 20 years. The drawers were full of dust and they felt as if they were about to fall out. The bathroom, old fashioned and not in a stylish way. A shower curtain that sticks to you when you shower. The shower rail rusted. The last thing, the wall on the top single bed looked like a party had gone on and they had spilled drink (i am telling myself it is drink) all over. We had to ask the reception to please clean the room as we could not sleep there. That evening, I went and asked for a bottle of watter as there were none in the room. Reception girl asked me to go to the bar and get it myself. A bar that was so full and busy, I waited for 30 min to be served. We paid nearly 200e for one night with a discount, for a 4 star room and service. What we got, was a hotel that lacked in almost all of the hotels expected in a 1 star hotel. Never mind a four star one.
