The Emory House

If you plan on visiting anywhere near this B&B, make sure to stay here. Rachel and Mike will treat you like the king or queen that you are. Immaculately clean, safe, and the breakfast prepared was surreal. Next time I am in town, this is the only place I will stay.

My husband and I stayed at the Emory House B & B on 2/1/25. It far exceeded my expectations. Rachel & Mike were excellent and very personable hosts. The room was beautiful mix of antiques and all the modern conveniences you can imagine & probably a few you haven’t thought of. The house is located in a beautiful, pastoral country setting and very convenient to a variety of local activities. Breakfast was outstanding. Lots of great snacks were also made available. No matter the occasion, Rachel & Mike will go out of their way to make your stay wonderful & memorable. We look forward to coming back again for a more extended stay.

What a wonderful experience. My daughter and I wanted a few days away with my mom. We decided we wanted the experience of a BnB. And our Innkeeper Rachel made our three nights unforgettable. Not only were the newly refurbished rooms (and beds) beautiful, luxurious and full of amenities the common areas have had a facelift too. Her advice on where to eat and places to see was invaluable. It was the perfect distance between Abingdon and Marion yet in a quiet village setting. We were encouraged to make ourselves at home and to play cards in the dining area we were then plied with treats and wonderful stories as we bonded over cards and games. Not to mention the amazing food every morning. A foodies delight. I will never forget Rachel's bananas foster french toast!! It was a special time with my daughter and mom made even more so by the special Inn we chose. Thank you Rachel and MIke.

The Emory House is amazing! The rooms are clean and luxurious. Rachel is a wonderful hostess and chef. The house is in the country, yet close to so much! This weekend has been a fantastic experience, and I am looking forward to coming back soon.

This B&B is not only a lovely home filled with wonderful furnishings and spectacularly clean, but filled with warmth and so many personal touches. Mike and Rachel have considered every possible need to make it a most enjoyable experience. Great toiletries in every room, plush linens, and a thoughtful beverage center complete with snacks. Rachel's breakfast are 5 star restaurant quality and sure to please the most picky palate. And fresh cookies each afternoon are sure to entice the best dieter. We are already planning to return and spend more time is this charming B&B. Thank you for making my husband's birthday weekend a celebration to remember. Joy T.

Excellent property with every thoughtful detail attended to… Each suite is very roomy, well appointed, and comfortable with its own private bathroom. Loads of room to relax, big front porch, generous outdoor green areas. The perfect place for gathering with family or friends.
