Hotels in Huangwan Town/ Visitor Center of Mount Emei, Emeishan

I went to Mount Emei to climb mountains and soak in hot springs on the weekend. I originally planned to go to Hongzhu Mountain, but there were no rooms. I chose this hotel temporarily, which can be said to be super cost-effective. The hotel is newly opened, and the facilities and equipment are pretty good. It comes with its own hot spring for more than 300 yuan. The breakfast is very rich. The hotel is right next to Baoguo Temple. There is free parking for driving, and there is a snack street outside. The service attitude of the front desk lady is also very enthusiastic. If you stay in the off-season, the price should be cheaper. I highly recommend it. However, there are a few points that need to be paid attention to: there are oil spots on the linens and bathrobes, which may need to be replaced. The walls of the room are slightly peeling. The linens in the room and some photos on the external network do not look high-end, which lowers the grade of the hotel a bit. It is recommended that the housekeeping department strengthen the inspection of hygiene, and all the photos of the room types on the external network should be taken by photographers, and don’t take them by yourself. Overall, the hotel is still very cost-effective. If you want to climb Mount Emei and soak in hot springs, you can choose them. It’s worth it to get into the pit.

Overall had a great experience at the hotel. There was a free pick up from emei shan high speed rail station. The hotel staff 小耿 that picked us at the train station was very welcoming and answered many of our questions regarding how best to tour Emei Mountain. She also sent us major location pin and guided us where to visit. Hotel breakfast was great on Sunday with a variety of choices. Hotel is 10mins walk away from 报国寺 and bus station to go to Emei Mountain. Right opposite the hotel has food options. If you walk 20mins downhill, there would be more selection of local food. Very convenient location.

I have been following the hotel for a long time and always wanted to bring my family to play. This time it came true. After seeing that the hotel has professional butler services, we contacted the hotel in advance and chose Anna Liu Cui to serve us. It was really awesome. Anna knew that we were bringing children, and asked how high they were. Considering that there were children, she prepared children's toiletries and fences in advance. She also told us about the precautions, weather, ticket purchase methods, etc. of Mount Emei. Everything was arranged properly at the hotel. The room was the most satisfactory one for us. The standard king-size bed and super-large bed in Building 2 were suitable for bringing children to stay. It was also convenient to go to the hot spring. The outdoor environment was beautiful during the day and at night. The outdoor children's slide hot spring was especially popular with children. Anna said that there would be bubble shows on Saturdays and holidays. This trip to Mount Emei was also ideal. Anna reminded us to bring hot water, which was super useful. Lovely hotel. Particularly liked their family room which is perfect for a couple with a young child. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Good breakfast too. Staff were helpful. Located close to Baoguo bus station where you can get the sightseeing bus up to the golden summit.

The check-in experience was great. We came as a family. Every housekeeper was very kind. The housekeeper Fengqin took the initiative to help us carry our luggage, introduced the route to the mountain, and gave the children toiletries. It was very heartwarming. There were few people during this period, so it was very comfortable. There is a food street right outside the door, with rich food. It is also very convenient to take a bus to the scenic area. The hotel service is very good. The room will be prepared in advance and the heating will be turned on. Especially in cold weather, you can feel the warmth when you enter the room. It is so comfortable. The housekeeper will contact us one day in advance and take the initiative to upgrade the room type. After knowing that we are a parent-child tour, the housekeeper will also remind us of the time of various parent-child activities. The hotel arranges parent-child activities well, not perfunctory at all. I think it is the best hotel in the province for parent-child activities. There is a special building in the parent-child park. The children like the inflatable castle and the sand pool very much. You can feel that they are very attentive to the parent-child area. I am very surprised that there is also a book bar. I have stayed in so many hotels and it is rare to see such a clean, interesting and non-perfunctory book bar. I like it very much. In addition, the hotel environment is also good. The environment should be more comfortable after the leaves turn green in April and May. This is the first choice for taking my baby to Emei next time. It is better than Amy.

I have been to Mount Emei many times. This homestay is on the way up the mountain. The location is still very good. Whether it is to the scenic spot or to eat food, you need to drive. It is suitable for self-driving friends. The environment of the famous hotel community is very good and very new. There is a road in the community to climb the mountain, very comfortable! We have a three-wool pool bungalow, fully equipped, machine hemp, projection, induction cooker, refrigerator, microwave oven, kitchen utensils, three or five friends are very comfortable together, there is a large garden behind, there is a large bubble pool, the pool is very fast, the water temperature is enough, after eating hot pot at night, it is very comfortable to soak in hot water. Kids have fun too!

I wish to do a fair review of my B&B stay at Emeishan. Service was spectacular. 1) The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services from Emeishan Station (not to be confused with Emei Station), about 7-8 mins drive from the hotel. I communicated via WeChat which trains I would be on and let them know that my 1st train arrival was actually so that I could drop off my large suitcase at their place, before going backwards to Leshan for half a day, and then returning to Emeishan in the evening. Not only did they agree to send someone to the train station to pick-up, they agreed to pick up only my luggage without me needing to accompany. So I could add an additional hour to my Leshan trip. Then they came to the train station a 2nd time in the evening to pick me back to the hotel. 2) The hotel replies very very quickly on WeChat, as if monitoring it all the time. 3) The hotel could arrange ticket purchase of a show, Only Emeishan, at a price lower than what you find on the official website. 4) The hotel even left the suitcase in my room before my arrival. 5) When I told the hotel to skip preparing my breakfast as I was starting off at 7am the next day to go Emeishan (breakfast is 7.30am at the hotel), they offered to put some items into a plastic box for me to take along. 5-star service in terms of making arrangements! They gave me a really large room, and I never used the bathtub with the bath herbs, but am thankful for the upgrade. Loved it that they gave 1 gigantic bottle of water and 2 smaller ones, showing their care for pple intending to climb Emeishan. Please don't expect too much from what they call ”Afternoon Tea” included in your package. It is merely a small tray of dried/fresh fruit, so it wouldn't form a meal. But I would not be fair to readers of reviews if I didn't give a balanced review. a) The hardware is a bit tired. The wooden planks in the shower room are blackish, and there are water marks on the stone in the bathroom. b) The power sockets are not at good locations. They are at the lower parts of a wall at a random spot and nothing near the bedside. c) The lights in the room are not well-positioned. d) There was an empty bottle below the wardrobe area when I first entered the room, which was missed even on the 2nd day. e) As I'm not familiar with Emeishan, I also didn't know that 黄湾 area is not exactly the main activity area in Emeishan. That said, the hotel is a 5-7 min walk from the 黄湾 entrance/exit to Emeishan. I believe the Baoguo Temple entrance/exit would be more popular. There are several restaurants around the restaurant but the vast majority appear closed or are not occupied, so it doesn't feel very lively, whether day or night. All in all, I would still recommend this hotel as they are family owned and run. The whole family depends on your support. Support local small business and give them a chance.

I was having a quick refreshing stop over in Emeishan before my busy time of work . The hotel owners were very friendly and provided all the helpful travel tips. The hotel is located at the foot of Emei Mountains with the beautiful backdrop of mountain range as well as easy location to access local restaurants, shops and the tourist center. The breakfast was generous and beautiful. The hot pool in my room was perfect and really relaxing !
