The good: - the location is fantastic with lots of hiking nearby and easy to get to the buses for Mt. Emei - the staff are very friendly The bad: - the hotel is definitely looking tired and dated: chipped woodwork in the rooms, flaking paint on the balcony. - only one of the many bars is open. Everytime we wanted to order something we were shown a huge menu, only to then be told most things were not available - this included wines, beers and food. - the hotel was incredibly quiet with the restaurant and bar being completely empty most of the time we were there. Whilst not the hotel’s fault, it dead mean a complete lack of atmosphere. - various items were listed as included when booking with Trip.com - none of them were available or in fact included. - when advise was needed from reception: the information given was often not accurate. The staff were wonderfully friendly, they just did not seem to have accurate information or to check it. Overall: this was the most expensive hotel booked during my three week tour of China and the most disappointing. I would unfortunately not recommend, especially in low season.

This property was located in a beautiful setting and was easily accessible to scenic trails and temples.

Beautiful design, serene atmosphere, wonderful smell of fresh lilies. The hot spring in the room and the forest view with jungle sounds were amazing. Nice breakfast. The pool experience is better in the afternoon due to forest views and no people. The pool is big oval, and serene, no plastic separators. Unfortunately the pool and the gym are closed in the morning and the gym's air con was broken. Nice staff, but little English is spoken.

Very nice and clean hotel, beautiful and clean location, hot spring and facilities very good. Tried to check out early morning, there was no one available for more than 10 minutes… almost causing us to miss our high speed train. Otherwise the service was really good.

This was our favourite hotel for our trip. It is a hotel steeped in culture, history and greenery. The hotel is very big and you can organise a complementary tour of hotel grounds even. Our favourite feature is the room’s hot spring and the 24/7 butler service! Special shoutout to the great service provided by our butler, he gave us daily updates of the weather and route recommendations too. 红珠山宾馆的禅意山居，非常富有文化与意境，无论晴雨，各有美景，房间也是透风透气，窗外松树林立，别有一番美景，泡池更是安逸舒适，不时还可以看见松鼠跳跃，和我们对接的管家认真负责，非常的有责任心，积极的为我们解决遇到的问题，早餐也是美味可口，很多中式特色菜品！宾馆很大，里面湖光山色映入眼帘，上山很方便，应该是出游峨眉山最佳选择
