The ladies at the front desk were very kind. We only went to Leidongping to stay after nine o'clock in the evening. When the mother-in-law saw us coming, she immediately turned on the floor heating and continued it until the next morning when we were about to check out. The hot water was also very fast. Overall, the experience was good. A little suggestion for those who are purely hiking friends, you can bring a pair of socks and insoles when you stay at this hotel at night. There is floor heating. You can wash the insoles and socks and put them on the floor to dry. We climbed from morning to 9 o'clock in the evening and arrived at Leidongping in 13 hours. It's okay, but my shoes and socks are definitely sweaty.

The good point is that employees told us to get up to watch the sunrise. Room equipment is average, the price has spent more than 700, but shower gel, shampoo are very simple small bags, bath bathroom, can close the window on one side, there is no discount for selling clothes. Other stores are more discounted. It is not a last resort to recommend staying at the hotel here. It is recommended to do the process in advance, arrange the time to go to Mount Emei in advance, and come down the mountain to live.

The hotel is located in Leidongping. The environment is relatively average. The air conditioner is very noisy. The sound of cars outside is very obvious. The drainage in the bathing area is not smooth and there is serious water accumulation. Overall, it is average and the cost is not low.

1. The floor heating is turned on at 19:00, it is very warm, and it is even a little hot when sleeping.
2. The sound insulation is not very good, but there are not many people coming in and out at night, so it is okay. But the wind outside the window is really loud, and the window is blown loudly.
3. There are only 2 or 3 channels on the TV, and there is nothing to watch. I saw other people's comments that the computer has no network, so I didn't use it. There is wifi, so I played with my phone.
4. Although it is said to check out before 12 o'clock, the store basically lets you check out when you are going to Jinding at 6 or 7 in the morning, and you can store your luggage in the lobby.
Overall, it is more expensive than outside. You can stay in a much better environment than this one for more than 100 yuan outside 😂 But after all, it is in Leidongping and it is peak season, so it is acceptable.

Accommodation conditions on the mountain are limited. The rooms are not big, but the hygiene is OK. It is recommended to take some disposable quilt covers. The warmth is very good. The floor heating and the heated bed are not cold at all. The auntie will also wake you up to watch the sunrise. The boss is very enthusiastic and will provide advice on travel. It can be said that I am super satisfied. Although I stayed for a short time, I feel very warm. I didn't experience the bad unpleasantness mentioned in other reviews. For this location, this price. Personally, I feel that the price/performance ratio is very high. In fact, I stayed there a few years ago. The room was warm and cozy, and it was considered a very good hotel in the mountains. My sister forgot her cell phone in the room, but we had already taken the bus to the high-speed rail station. The boss ran to the bus station and asked the driver to help us take us to the Emeishan high-speed rail station. He was considerate, patient and loving. I give the boss a big thumbs up 👍 Their hotel is also very good. Eat, especially the bamboo leaf vegetable scrambled eggs, I must order it every time. The boss's house also has a super **** card. I played it all night and kept laughing. I will definitely stay there next time I go!
By the way, the place where monkeys often hang out is very close to the hotel. You can feed them, but don't tease them. There are also staff there to look after them, so you can feel safe and secure!

Perfect
LLanJiangWe initially chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station and its recent opening. The drive up the narrow mountain road, full of sharp turns, was a bit unsettling for our city Didi driver, so we were secretly relieved (as was our driver) when we finally arrived. At first glance, the hotel seemed quite simple, and I wasn’t entirely sure I had made the right choice. However, any lingering doubts were quickly washed away by the warm welcome from Derek, the hotel manager, and the staff.
When we got to our room, it was pure joy! The minimalist design is visually soothing, and the balcony with its expansive mountain views made us feel like just hanging around and doing nothing was more than enough.
If you're the kind of traveler who feels guilty about not doing anything, rest assured that the hotel is in a beautiful section of the mountain. There's a lovely old temple and a sacred spring pond nearby—Zhongfeng Temple and Shenshui Pavilion, I believe. You’ll also enjoy the energy of hikers rushing up and down the mountain. There are enough people to make it lively but not overwhelmingly crowded like Leidongping or Jinding, where the crowds can be exhausting.
A special mention goes to Derek, who exceeded all our expectations. His kindness and professionalism reminded me of the kind of service you expect from a six-star hotel, where every need is anticipated. Derek went above and beyond, making our journey to Golden Summit and onward to Leshan much smoother and more enjoyable. Since we speak minimal Chinese, he kindly helped us communicate with the next hotel, explaining how to get there. He even offered us a free ride to the bus station when we struggled to find a Didi in the area. Derek also helped arrange our transfer to Leshan. We were incredibly impressed and grateful for his assistance.
If I had to suggest one area for improvement, I’d say the dinner options could use some enhancement to match the overall excellence of the stay.
A small tip: If your goal is to catch the sunrise and sunset at Golden Summit, you'll need to stay at one of the mountaintop hotels near Jinding. Logistically, getting to these hotels involves taking a bus from Baoguosi or Wuxiangang Station to Leidongping, then a cable car to the upper platform, followed by a roughly one-hour hike with steep steps to Jinding. It's manageable with a backpack, but not ideal with large luggage. That’s why we chose Pure Cloud Hotel for its close proximity to Wuxiangang Bus Station, leaving our luggage there and heading up the mountain with just our backpacks.

GGuest UserI wish to do a fair review of my B&B stay at Emeishan.
Service was spectacular.
1) The hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off services from Emeishan Station (not to be confused with Emei Station), about 7-8 mins drive from the hotel. I communicated via WeChat which trains I would be on and let them know that my 1st train arrival was actually so that I could drop off my large suitcase at their place, before going backwards to Leshan for half a day, and then returning to Emeishan in the evening. Not only did they agree to send someone to the train station to pick-up, they agreed to pick up only my luggage without me needing to accompany. So I could add an additional hour to my Leshan trip. Then they came to the train station a 2nd time in the evening to pick me back to the hotel.
2) The hotel replies very very quickly on WeChat, as if monitoring it all the time.
3) The hotel could arrange ticket purchase of a show, Only Emeishan, at a price lower than what you find on the official website.
4) The hotel even left the suitcase in my room before my arrival.
5) When I told the hotel to skip preparing my breakfast as I was starting off at 7am the next day to go Emeishan (breakfast is 7.30am at the hotel), they offered to put some items into a plastic box for me to take along.
5-star service in terms of making arrangements!
They gave me a really large room, and I never used the bathtub with the bath herbs, but am thankful for the upgrade. Loved it that they gave 1 gigantic bottle of water and 2 smaller ones, showing their care for pple intending to climb Emeishan.
Please don't expect too much from what they call ”Afternoon Tea” included in your package. It is merely a small tray of dried/fresh fruit, so it wouldn't form a meal.
But I would not be fair to readers of reviews if I didn't give a balanced review.
a) The hardware is a bit tired. The wooden planks in the shower room are blackish, and there are water marks on the stone in the bathroom.
b) The power sockets are not at good locations. They are at the lower parts of a wall at a random spot and nothing near the bedside.
c) The lights in the room are not well-positioned.
d) There was an empty bottle below the wardrobe area when I first entered the room, which was missed even on the 2nd day.
e) As I'm not familiar with Emeishan, I also didn't know that 黄湾 area is not exactly the main activity area in Emeishan. That said, the hotel is a 5-7 min walk from the 黄湾 entrance/exit to Emeishan. I believe the Baoguo Temple entrance/exit would be more popular. There are several restaurants around the restaurant but the vast majority appear closed or are not occupied, so it doesn't feel very lively, whether day or night.
All in all, I would still recommend this hotel as they are family owned and run. The whole family depends on your support. Support local small business and give them a chance.

The staffs are very helpful and friendly and the owner who runs the business was very helpful too in ensuring we have a good stay and didn’t get lost. The restaurant was closed when we were there, so called gym does not exist at all, swimming pool is small like a pond and the bigger one is for kids. There is no garden or anything that covers the road and the bridge you can hear easily while staying down the swimming pool. The big bonus is the bathroom- big and modern exactly like on the picture and the spring water hot tub that works well and can create a great time during the night as you can hear the river. Light system is amazing. You can find any light that you need to set up a mood. People are very nice and friendly. The front desk does not have ‘ business card’ and location of the hotel was written down on a paper. Really little things that shows this place has a potential but not in the current set up. You can’t lock the room door when you are not inside- only the garden gate. Who would design such a thing? I know it’s a safe destination but still. There is no safe either. People create this place special but it does not meet a high standard resort score.

The hotel has a pick-up service, so you don't have to worry about it. The hot spring is indoors, so you don't have to worry about the children catching a cold. It's good. The dolls are very happy. SShangyesanqi.I searched for this B&B a long time in advance. When I arrived, I found that it was really good. It exceeded my expectations (^-^)👍The B&B is not very far from Wuxiangang Station. The staff also added WeChat in advance to inform them of the specific location and the Golden Summit that day. Weather, etc., you can also contact them to pick you up after playing. The room facilities are complete, and there is also a free laundry service (≧▽≦)/♫Awesome👍
You can order food at the B&B in the evening. The taste is very good and the portion is very big. Two people didn't finish it. The breakfast in the restaurant is also very delicious. The yyds recommended by my brother is freshly made by my aunt in the morning. It's spicy and delicious. (Fresh pepper rabbit is delicious and goes well with wine)
The hot spring staff in the room will fill the water in advance. After climbing the mountain, you can soak in the hot spring directly. It is super comfortable. The hot spring is facing the bamboo forest and the mountain, and the scenery is amazing🤙The environment is really super comfortable and relaxing😌There are also Swimming pool and public hot spring, the swimming pool was a bit cold so I didn’t go in the water😂
The front desk also helped us book a car to Leshan, they were serious and responsible👍
Next time I come to Mount Emei in winter to see the snow scenery, I will stay at this hotel✌️

GGuest UserThe hotel is newly opened this year. The hotel environment is good and the facilities are very new. There is free parking in the hotel and you can play mahjong for free.
The young lady and elder sister at the front desk provided very good service. They gave us a welcome fruit and enthusiastically explained to us the travel guide to Mount Emei and the specialties of Emei.
The hotel is very close to the visitor center, next to Baoguo Temple and the museum, and it is very quiet here.
I am very satisfied with my stay and will come again next time.

LL S HWe checked into this hotel on 6 August 2023 after visiting Leshan Giant Buddha. The room is tastefully furnished and amenities are adequate.
It is within walking distance from the Emeishan Tourist Service Centre where you can conveniently buy admission tickets, sightseeing shuttle bus tickets and cable car tickets all at once. The young lady at the enquiry counter was particularly helpful and even helped us to plan our route so that we could buy all the tickets in advance. Incidentally we are honoured to be given complimentary admission as my wife and I are both above 60 years old. We need only pay for the sightseeing bus rides and cable cars. Our thanks to the management of the Emeishan Scenic Park.
Just a few steps outside the hotel is the 好吃街 (literally nice food street) where you are spoilt for choice for local cuisine. There is also an array of shops catering to Emeishan visitors. Baoguo Temple is also within walking distance from the hotel.
We recommend this hotel if you wish to spend sometime at the foot of Emeishan.

GGuest UserPositive: Very well located, just a 10-minute walk from Mount Emei. Cozy and spacious room. Clean sheets and towels. Very, very comfortable bed. Pleasant staff. To get there, take bus 5 or 7 for ¥2 from outside the Emeishan train station. If you prefer, a tuk-tuk can also take you for ¥10. Taxi drivers increase the price significantly, so agree on a fair price before getting in the car.
Negative: The WiFi didn't work. Although the area is good if you want to go to Mount Emei, it is quite far from the city of Emeishan; it's actually in a village called Bagou. The area is very beautiful, but the aggressive sales tactics of the people working in the restaurants and street stalls are unpleasant. They don't let you walk, shout at you, and chase you, even if you politely tell them you're not interested in their restaurant. You are constantly approached to buy tours, making it impossible to stroll peacefully. Although we understand there is no ill intention, the hotel owners constantly ask where we are going, what we are going to do the next day, and if we want food. We felt like we were staying at the house of friendly but somewhat controlling relatives, which is not what we expect from a hotel.
