"This was my first time in this city and my stay here was amazing. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet, offering a full immersion in nature that you can't find in big cities. The atmosphere and accommodation were very private. The owners provided excellent service, making me feel like family. The rooms were large and spacious, not at all intimidating. On my arrival, I requested to try on traditional Sri Lankan clothing, and the accommodation provided it for me. I was extremely impressed."

"The breakfast buffet was quite luxurious. Walking to Little Adam's Peak and Nine Arches was wonderful. That said, having millipedes in the shower was not good."

"Nestled in the charming town of Ella, this accommodation offers a convenient and easily accessible retreat for travelers. We opted for the Superior double room, a spacious haven with two warm and comfortable beds. Good sound proofing as well. The bed sheets and towels were clean, and the room came well-equipped with a minibar stocked with few beverages, an electric kettle, and a hairdryer. Tea, coffee, sugar bags, and water bottles were also provided. While the AC functioned well, there were minor issues with the heat mode (head some noises). Moving to the bathroom, it was tidy, with a few pieces of soap and shampoo available. ⚠️ The Jacuzzi had a crack, and the water we filled for the first time was brownish, so we had to flush that away. Its water pump worked efficiently, providing a comfortable experience with hot water. For dinner, we enjoyed Seafood noodles and Chicken soup, both served hot and bursting with delicious flavors. The roasted bread complemented the soup perfectly. ⚠️ Despite a power cut during the night, attempts to contact the staff were unsuccessful (left a message at night), and the issue persisted into the morning (called to the provided mobile and land-line phone numbers but none of them worked). Anyway, after being physically informed, the power was restored. The morning, however, brought a breathtaking view from the room, offering a wide and panoramic spectacle of the surroundings. It provided an excellent opportunity for capturing stunning photos ❤️. We saw the lovely Kithal Ella Falls from the side as well. Opting for a Sri Lankan breakfast, we were treated to a delightful spread at the restaurant, where the view continued to impress. The meal included fruit juice, roasted bread with butter and jam, milk rice and dosa with Sri Lankan curries, and pancakes. Complementary milk and plain tea with sugar were also offered. In summary, our stay was a great experience and worth the price, with delicious food and an amazing view. The staff was helpful and remarkably informative. ⚠️ However, there's room for improvement in communication, as well as the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms."

"We arrived tired and out of sorts, but we were greeted so warmly that our spirits immediately improved. The hosts gave us tea, chatted in a homely way - you feel like a welcome guest, not a client. The hotel is on top of a mountain, and each room has an exit to a terrace with a stunning view. You wake up in the morning - and in front of you there are only mountains and silence. The room is clean, cozy, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. Breakfast was prepared especially for our preferences: fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, toast, even smoothies! The staff is not formally polite, but truly kind. If you want to not just spend the night, but feel cared for and relax your soul - this is definitely your place. I want to come back again and recommend it to everyone. Many thanks to the hosts for such an atmosphere!"

"Although the location is a little inaccessible, that’s how the beautiful view of train coming out from tunnel can be seen. And the inaccessible location is overly compensated by the service, there is TukTuk to fetch you from Ella Town or Ella station when you arrive. During your stay, they fetched us back from Ella town after dinner around 9pm to the accommodation for the convenience. Also upon check out, they sent us back to Ella station. So, you can to enjoy the view in absolute nature without compromising the convenience. Absolutely love the place. Just walking distance to 9 Arch."

"The welcoming and staff are amazing and so is the dinner; however, the hotel is really far from downtown. My room was small but okay, it had a nice balcony with mountain view. The bathroom is big, but it flooded everytime I took a shower since there is no shower curtains or box. Watch out: the floor becomes very slippery! They did not clean my room or even asked me if I wanted it to be cleaned. I asked them for a silent room (my only request) and the front desk girl gave me a room over the restaurant which means noise started at 6:30am ):"
