I booked this stay at the last minute and without knowing much about the property. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Daniel, the manager, who explained that the property is new and we were amongst some of the first guests. He asked about our plans during the 3 night stay, offered assistance with plans, bags, etc. and made himself available at any time. The room was ready upon arrival (a little early) and I was beyond impressed when I entered it. First, the size of the room and balcony were large. What impressed me most was that every detail had been attended to. Linens were high quality. Bath products top notch. Complimentary mini-bar with soft drinks, beer, water. Quality coffee. Smart TV. Beautiful decor. The room was perfect. During our stay, we ate at the restaurant a few times. This is something I almost never do, because hotel restaurants are often sub-par and overrated. However, meals at Tierra were amongst the best we had during 4 weeks in Panama. Anthony, food and beverage director from another La Compania property, was hands on. The property itself is like a museum with nearly 200 pieces of art. It's worth a stroll to see all of them. The pool areas are comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a hike, with attentive service. We met Fidel, GM for all of the properties, who offered us a tour of Fuego, the new restaurant that was set to open. I was disappointed that we would leave before it opened, as it looks fantastic. Again, every detail is considered. This property stands out from so many other hotels in terms of visual appeal, service, attention to detail, and hands-on involvement of upper management. We loved our visit to El Valle de Anton, and much of that had to do with our stay there. We were made to feel welcomed. We travel frequently, and this was one of the best hotel stays I can remember. Great job and keep reaching for stars.
