Had great week at Palas Pineda with daughter. A perfect seaview, fab room, cleaned every day. Pool clean & inviting, entertainment great. A language barrier with bar staff but always friendly. Food could be warmer. Need a kettle in the room

Beautiful hotel we stayed in a superior duplex which was really lovely very spacious, clean and had plenty of wardrobe space and great balcony only one thing lacking no kettle but we brought our own We stayed all inclusive and it was great value Beds were hugh and very comfy Staff very friendly especially the reception staff who were so helpful and went out of their way to help ( a big shout out for Hanna who went above and beyond a lovely lady a hugh thank you to her for all she did for us ) Pool was lovely (salt water ) my family loved it esp the slide great fun was had Outside area was nice but a few slip hazards ( uneven tiles ) Games area was good plenty of tables to play on and small play area for small kiddies Food was delicious cooked fresh everyday Good selection for kids and adults the deserts were delicious One thing I didnt like was all drinks for all inclusive came in a hard plastic cup I would of preferred a glass but not at meal times you could have a glass Entertainment was very good but would of been better if more English was spoken as sometimes we didn't understand alot But will we return definitely YES YES YES

Just had a lovely stay at this hotel with family. Adults and children all had a great time. It is a big beautiful hotel, which I would say seemed to have more Spanish and French guests than British at time of stay (late aug-early sep) however did not put me off it added to atmosphere of being away on holiday. Same with kids entertainment/disco -mainly in Spanish and French but kids still loved it. Highlights- outdoor pool was great, kids and I loved it- they had 2 different types of slides-kids and I spent hours here most days. Nice selection of soft drinks/alcoholic/cocktails/mocktails, milkshake,slushies for kids at pool bar. Room was cleaned everyday&towels changed. The beach is a few mins walk-Pineda beach was a lovely sandy beach,warm sea-nice shops (La Pineda is a nice area- not too busy but good selection of shops, restaurants) Food- breakfast-choice of full English (bacon and sausage not my favourite style-but different countries have different styles. Plenty of pastries, breads , cheeses , fruit. Dinner and lunch-seafood everyday, chips and pasta for kids everyday, pizza and fishfingers a few days,lots of salad, different meats, bread. Kids loved the self service ice cream. The restaurant was quite busy with people and quite noisy when we stayed. Didn’t take ages to select your food just busy with lots of people-there were quieter areas you could sit in conservatory and patio bit. One night there was a long queue to get in restaurant-may have been a one off as was only evening, just need to try and pick your times right. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would stay here again.

We are on our 4th day here hotel is beautiful but the food doesnt cater for the british in any way. For breakfast the bacon is very odd not sure what country it is inspired by, the sausage was tinned hot dogs fried or german sausage, the scrambled eggs are rubbery and cold and the fried eggs were cold and constantly running low however the spanish and german food range was plentiful. Dinner and evening meal were to a similar standard except a 20 minute wait while they cooked a dozen pork chops at a time for a queue of a few hundred people. On one night the hot option for dinner was fish, sea food, sea food, sea food and 1 halal pork. The snack bar, shameful, a smaller version of the restaurant food left there for hours at a time to get cold, there were toasties available but only until 1pm, absolutely spoiled our experience. I shouldn't have to be ashamed for wanting british foods for our family. Entertainment every night but could not understand as it was in spanish. Majority of the staff did not understand a word of english which made it very difficult to communicate. Completely ruined our experience as we were hungry every day.
