I booked for 5 nights and once I got there I regreted! The description says internet and internet didn't work in 5 days not even for an email never connected when you can connect in the other properties around the island. The bathroom is smelly, flush doesn't work properly. The handle of the shower is broken and the door you can't close because you will get stucked. A person got stucked and we have to call the staff to open the door, they did in 10 minutes with a knife and they didn't even apologize or say sorry to us. The free pick up works really bad. Most of the time they don't answer the phone or if they answer they don't give you an estimated time. There are many rules only for guests because the owner if they don't have internet or things are broken they will not even think of fixing not even saying sorry. If you book a tour with other company there is no free pick up as the profile says. Tours in El Nido has fix rates but they charge more expensive than the other places and you will ahve your free pick up. I would lvoe to know all these things in advance before booking in this place. We stayed in the room 13 hope they can fix all these issues.

This place is absolutely vile, defo read the reviews before booking. We stayed 1 night and had to book somewhere else for the other 3, woke up covered in bites and visibly saw bed bugs. Place is filthy, ants everywhere, wallpaper peeling, rust leaking from the shower head, mould on the ceiling, mattress is disgusting, rooms smells damp and bathroom smells even worse. No AC just 1 fan provided, unable to move in the room it’s that hot and small, can’t even plug your charger in the wall as it falls out and wifi doesn’t work. They don’t get back to you about pick up from the port so you have to make your own way there even though it’s advertised as free. When we asked for a refund for the nights we didn’t stay, we were told to speak to the owner who was very rude on the phone, shouted at us and when we raised our voice back he used it as an excuse to not give us a refund, actual money grabbers this place, avoid at all costs. Staff are clueless and nothing is clean, advertised as satisfactory over luxury but this place is the furthest thing from satisfactory.

It is a nice place no expensive great people especially the owner Merzah we feel like home we buy 2 tours with them great experience and we get free breakfast and diner it was good too the room not luxury but nice not to far from center but quiet . The first night we spent in the center was a nightmare We did not sleep until 4 am because of the noise they have nice siding ares it was very good experience

It’s honestly such a cute little hostel! The owners are former travelers themselves and told us that they want to recreate a place they wish were accessible back then. So something homey and budget friendly which it also is. So it’ll obviously not be a 5 star hotel but the owners and the employees are just WONDERFUL people. They’re currently renovating and you can really see the passion and love they have for this place. They kept asking us for feedback about what they can improve etc, really showing that they consider the customers point of view! They also went above and beyond to help us book different kind of tours for our stay and provided us with useful information. The front desk worker once helped us book a tour until 11pm without complain! This hostel was honestly such a highlight of our stay and even made us extend for a couple more day!!
