Great location

This is a bit of a special place. The hotel is right at its own private beach. It‘s very isolated from everything else which can be nice if you don‘t want to leave the hotel at all. We wanted to go to the town some evenings and that is a bit of a challenge. You first have to take a golf car (which only runs until 10pm) and then change into a tricycle. The tricycles won‘t go directly to the hotel because the last bit of the road is too steep and winded. The other option is to walk along the beach for 20 minutes instead of using the golf car for the last bit, which we did a couple of times. It‘s not too dangerous but there are stray dogs. The food in the hotel restaurant was Italian and just ok, nothing amazing. The service was not great. Two women seem to know how to run a hotel but the rest of the staff were rather useless. They often seemed annoyed, even when we were just ordering food. We once asked about the zipline that is literally next door and they didn‘t know anything about it (price, time, how to get there). They organised a tour for us, which was great, but messed up the booking somehow so the tour guide thought we were only two people instead of four, which resulted in less food for lunch. And then they even charged us more for the tour. Our room was fine. Clean and no bugs. Yes, you can hear everything but we didn‘t mind that. The room was only made up on request though. The whole area is beautiful but there were a few things that annoyed us. So I wouldn‘t come back.

Bãi biển của resort khá hoang sơ, đẹp , yên tĩnh .Trang thiết bị của resot bị thiếu ấm siêu tốc, máy sấy tóc. Để pha trà rất khó khăn , phải ra nhà hàng lấy nước nóng ở bình đun nước nóng lạnh chung. Phần lấy nước nóng thường xuyên tắt ,nên muốn lấy nước nóng pha trà phải chờ 7 phút-10 phút cho nước sôi lên.

説實話 家人們 除了景色絕佳 其他一無所有 景色非常非常好 這個酒店的沙灘不會有遊客所以很安靜很私密 位置離得遠交通不方便 如果衹是去chill的很適合 但是像我們一樣想去浮潛 去市裡吃飯啥的就比較煩 服務絕差 他們態度很好但是真的聽不懂人話 挺震驚的 其他的就挺好的吧 去度假心情好就不計較了哈哈哈哈

很令人放鬆的地方

The view is breathtaking! But now that I am home, I have insect bites to deal with. Really bad. I don’t know if it’s from the bed, the sand or the dining room. The room- it’s from the 90s. The door and windows have gaps so insects could have come From there or from the ceiling (anahaw leaves). The mattress is a two-inch foam. The shower has no hot water. True, the pool had a slimy bottom. One can walk to vanilla beach for 20-30mins each way if the golf cart road is too scary for you. This is the reason why nobody would pick you up from the hotel directly. Food choices were limited. Not everything was on the menu. The graciousness of the staff though was top-rated. Can’t fault them. The coconuts could fall on your head at any moment. It was not regularly tended. Hazardous!

A little off the beaten track, well actually a long way off the beaten track but an amazing location. The hotel does advise access to the location is via a steep road and local taxis, trikes, etc will not go there. However the hotel does provide a free shuttle using golf carts. We had one of the beach front bungalows which was literally 10 steps from the water. Good size room with a full size tub and separate shower with rainfall shower. Large comfortable bed and good a/c. Large flat screen TV with satellite channels. Breakfast available daily with a choice of international or Filipino food. Good coffee. In the evening the restaurant served a variety of international dishes but they do prefer you to order in advance. A reasonable selection of beer , wine and spirits are available. The staff are very helpful and friendly and happy to accommodate any special requests. The hotel can arrange tours and scuba diving trips. It also has it's own power boat which can be rented , complete with driver.

Poor management of staff and facilities is why I rated the resort a fail. Shabby, dirty, worn out furniture, non functioning rusty game room for example. We stayed 10 nights with the swimming pool only usable for two of those days. The sea water flushing pump is totally inadequate. It takes two days to drain and another four days to refill with cloudy sea water and the cycle is repeated. Also there is real danger of falling coconuts with or without wind.

The cottages are lovely and clean located near the beach. You can totally relax away from el nido and still go for dinner at a nice restaurant just by walking along the beach (takes around 20-30 min to walk to vanilla beach and have to consider the tide!). The breakfast was good, but otherwise we wouldn't recommend eating there - we tried the new year's eve dinner which was overpriced and a normal dinner when we got cold meat and seafood in a vegetarian dish! Also the food didn't come at the same time, so you couldn'r really enjoy eating with your partner. We booked through agoda and they didn't answer any of our emails or calls. The day of our arrival we finally got someone who answered the phone and organised a private transfer from puerto princesa ( around 6500 pesos). They also have a free ride by golf cart from mcdonalds/ vanilla beach to the resort. If you want to go to el nido a tricylce from mcdonals costs 150pesos.

One of the best places my partner and I have visited. It’s the best place to just get lost in nature. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and family. If given the chance, will revisit again in the future.

Très calme, vue exceptionnelle, personnel très accueillant et très gentil, nourriture correct, chambre ( deluxe beach front) correct, rapport qualité prix, correct. Bémols : accès très compliqué en scooter, chemin de terre en montagne. Salle de bain trop sommaire, vieillissante.

Creo que, para llamarse "Resort", le falta bastante recorrido. Las vistas son espectaculares, y creo que solo por eso le doy las estrellas que le asigno. Está muy lejos de todo; hay un servicio de carro de golf que te acerca al McDonald's, pero el camino es de ripio muy deteriorado, ¡así que agárrate fuerte! La habitación que aparece en las imágenes de reserva no corresponde con la que te entregan; luego, al revisar otras reseñas, noté que es un problema común. Esto hace que uno deba reclamar y pagar por un cambio. Ofrecen una sala de juegos que está desmantelada, con los juegos rotos o incompletos. La piscina tiene agua de mar, lo cual me parece una buena idea, pero no está bien mantenida (tenía una espuma marrón estancada en la parte baja). Las habitaciones son muy básicas y no cuentan con lo que uno espera en un resort, como frigobar, hervidor o televisor. Las ventanas no tienen vidrio, solo cuentan con divisiones de madera corredizas y mallas anti-mosquitos, pero las mallas están rotas, lo que permite que entren insectos con facilidad. Esto impide dejar las ventanas abiertas para que ingrese luz o para disfrutar de la vista del jardín, ya que, debido al estado de las mallas, los insectos se cuelan en la habitación. El personal es amable, pero parece tener poca experiencia en hotelería, sobre todo las meseras. Estuvimos cuatro días, y desde el segundo día faltaban productos en el menú que, hasta el cuarto día, no habían repuesto. En el desayuno no hay proteínas ni opciones vegetarianas, por lo que mi esposa solo pudo comer panqueques con fruta, excepto el último día, cuando no tenían leche para los panqueques, así que solo comió pan con mantequilla en un desayuno ya pagado. Además, debes repetir cada pedido, porque si pides algo sin un ingrediente, es probable que lo sirvan con lo que pediste omitir. Las tres comidas que pedimos sin algún ingrediente nos las trajeron con él. Todo esto ocurrió en un hotel donde solo estábamos nosotros y otra familia; ni me imagino cómo sería con una ocupación alta. Tengo experiencia en el sector hotelero, y en mi opinión, no vale la pena pagar tanto por un lugar tan alejado y donde no se come bien. Eso sí, el paisaje y las vistas son privilegiados.
