99 Surf Lodge

STAY HERE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!! I can't say enough great things about 99 Surf Lodge but let me try: Location: Incredible location right on the beach, which is so pristine and untouched. within walking distance to the surfing beach (Beginner's Bay), and the other small shops nearby. waking up here every morning was magic Service/Staff: unmatched! the service was so great, from the amazing girls who work the front desk and serve drinks and food to the chef to the cleaners, everyone is so nice.Make sure you bring cash to tip! We tipped on the card but we wish we would have brought cash. Food/Drinks: We didn't go anywhere else on the beach to eat, the food here was that good. Get the chicken caesar salad or honestly anything else. We drank them out of passionfruit juice (sorry!) but the sangria is great as is their wine selection Rooms: The rooms are standard surfer rooms, with an entry way to hold surfboards and large king beds with nice bathrooms. AC in each room. Nothing too special, but you're barely spending time in the room anyway. Common Area/Pool: Even better in person! It was also mostly empty during my stay, except one day when a family bought a day pass to use the pool and in that case we just hung at the beach. Pictures don't do it justice. Nothing like sitting on the beach and seeing the sun set over the sand. It doesn't hurt that I made incredible friends when I stayed there! Half of us didn't even surf, but lessons there are great if you do decide to give it a try. My friend ended up loving it and going every day we were there. This is definitely a rant but IDC this was a highlight of my entire 2 week trip to Nicaragua. can't wait to be back!

If I could rate this a 0, I would. First time going to this place, and they called security on me because I was complaining that my room a/c was not working. Since we complained, they just told us in a mean way to leave and called security which made me feel intimidated. They pressured us to leave immediately. I wouldn't recommend this place ever. I posted a review on Facebook, and the staff called us psycho—the worst customer service experience in my life.

Acabo de tener la peor experiencia de mi vida en un hotel. Se llama 99 SURF LODGE. Nos entregaron una habitación y el aire no estaba funcionando. Se lo hice saber a la muchacha Kayla y me dijo que iban a revisarlo y después de preguntar varias veces que si habían revisado muy de mala manera me contestó que el aire estaba funcionando y asi era la temperatura( estaba súper caliente y claramente no funcionando el aire) me dijo que si no me parecía nos podíamos retirar y seguía diciendo que el aire funcionaba, confirmamos que nos retiraríamos pero estábamos tomando una bebidas e íbamos a esperar terminarlas. Ella nos dijo que nos teníamos que retirar ya y mencionó llamar a la policía, luego llamo a seguridad. En fin es inaceptable tener un trato así cuando estás pagando como consumidor. I just had the worst hotel experience ever. It's called 99 SURF LODGE. They gave us a room and the a/c was not working. I let the girl know (Kayla)and she told me that they were going to check it. After asking several times if they had checked it in a very bad way, she replied that the a/c was working and that was the temperature (it was super hot and clearly the a/c was not working) then she told me that if I didn't like it we needed to leave now. She kept saying that the air worked in a really mean way, we confirmed that we would retire but we were having drinks and we were going to wait to finish them. She told us that we had to leave now and mentioned calling the police, then she called security. In short, it is unacceptable to have such treatment when you are paying as a consumer

Point positif : Le cadre de l’hôtel est splendide, belle piscine, belles chambres et propreté impeccable, proposition d’activités variés. Clime qui fonctionne très bien et eau chaude ! Literie confortable. Point négatif : la wifi de l’hôtel ne fonctionne vraiment pas bien. Les prix des activités et les plats sont assez élevés Les employés et le patron sont très amicaux et serviables, (sauf) la dame présente le matin pour servir le petit déjeuner. Aucun bonjour, aucun merci, aucun sourire…l’impression de la déranger lorsqu’on lui demande un service, c’est t’elle trompée de voie en travaillant en hôtellerie ? 🤷‍♀️
