Riviera Punta Cana Eco Travelers

The owner, Marco was a life saver! He knows everyone in town and directed me to the services I needed, such as mobile Internet. One of the staff there named Victor was a great help for me in town with translations and even helped me carry groceries. They have a restaurant with awesome food. It’s just a block away from the beach. They are basic, not so fancy, but everything I needed. Most of all they have a great staff, helpful… and that goes a long ways with me.

I never write reviews but I needed to share our experience. My family are Vegan and I was stressed where we were going to eat. My son saw a sign while we were walking down the street.. He yelled out Vegan restaurant. We walked in and it was the best experience of our life. We were greeted by Voja! High energy and made us feel welcomed. He truly made our experience a memory we will never forget. The menu had a list of Vegan options. He told us even if it's not on the menu, let him know what we want and the chef will prepare it. The food was delicious! It was so good we came back for dinner and drinks with my brother and law and wife. The owner Marcos was also very welcoming. I encourage anyone looking for Vegan options or great food! Stop by and you will not regret it. Thank you for reading and God Bless

The Delights of Dalmatia - on MS Mendula. What a wonderfful experience. A beautiful small ship with an ever helpful Captain and crew, combined with a stunning location, cruising amongst these idyllic islands of Croatia. Add to that the spacious and comfortable cabins, and amazing food produced from a small kitchen made the accommodation first class. Each day brought fresh visits to small picturesque island villages, some including interesting guided tours with knowledgeable local guides.There was always time to anchor in stunning small bays for a swim from the bathing platform too. The only problem was that one week was not enough, but it was a week full of great memories to treasure!

Ok. First off I don't know how anyone could give Marcos and Magdelina anything but 5 stars. They are both fluent in Spanish, English and several other languages which made everything very easy. When I wanted to practice on my Spanish Marcos would speak with me in Spanish and when I wanted to speak in English we spoke in English. If you read the other reviews, some people were confused about where they were and reviewed this place in error. I was traveling solo in the Dominican Republic as a single woman and I was slightly worried before arriving, but the second I walked into the garden late at night to check in - all my fears melted away. The family was sitting having a casual conversation with guests and the kids were playing on the ping pong table. They welcomed me like family. The most gracious couple I have ever met. In addition to being met by Marcos and Magdalena I was also met by a friendly dog which made this feel even more like home. As far as my room went, everything was clean, very spacious, had air conditioning in the bedroom, a mini fridge and some snacks and drinks in the minibar. I settled in immediately. I also ate dinner there every night because the food was so amazing! They have four different menus to choose from, including Dominican food, Caribbean and even Polish food. All of which was absolutely delicious. The service was incredible and it was a true experience that I will never forget. I even got to play air hockey with the kiddos! I almost don't want to write this review because I'm afraid I won't be able to get a reservation when I return next year! Now let's address the fact that this is not an all-inclusive resort. This is a small bed and breakfast that is run by a family. They have a recycle mentality and everything they had is reused and repurposed and I love that vibe. If you are one that wants fancy and luxury or no culture, this probably isn't the place for you. If you're a solo traveler that wants to feel like you're part of a family 1000% recommend. I will return to see them many many times. ♥️

Can’t comment on the hotel but a group of 10 of us went for supper. We had made reservations a week prior to ensure a table. Upon arrival we were seated at an old electrical wire spool which wasn’t so bad except two of us had chairs leaning forward at a 30 degree angle due to uneven ground. Two of us were seated next to palm tree that reeked of dog urine. We asked to be moved but the owner only moved us 3 ft. The food was another fiasco. After 3 hrs only 6 of us received our meals. We had to ask for cutlery and two of us received a large spoon to eat fish with. After 3 hrs of frustration we decided to leave and paid for what we received. We spoke to several other tables of patrons and most didn’t receive their meals either. It’s apparent the owners are in over their heads when it comes to the restaurant business. Maybe instead of trying to stuff over a hundred people in this small space they should stick to 20 or 30

I was most surprised by the quality of my room and the wonderful service I received at Riviera Punta Cana Eco~Tourism Hotel. For the price I paid, it was hands-down the best in the area and perfect for my long term stay. The room was so clean & was well-maintained throughout my 2 weeks. It was comfy, cool, and relaxing and the best part, I was only 5 minutes walk to the beach, perhaps 3 if I had walked faster. Yet I was on vacation and truly took in the natural beauty of the grounds, music & vibes, and the authentic culture of all who worked here. What a team! Breakfast started each day off wonderfully and came with my stay. There are specialty local drinks and of all the island’s dinner choices, I ate here more than any other place. The cooks I would refer to as Chefs as they are gifted with making every meal a satisfying experience. It begins with the precedence set by the owners as Marcos cooked fabulous meals also! There is a love that exudes for everyone. I observed special assistance being provided for all persons saying here as they truly are happy to serve making Riviera Punta Cana Eco~Tourism Hotel a most happy place to be! ☀️🏝
