Solares Del Sur

We stayed here overnight. We arrived really late and they waited for us. It's like having a full house to yourself. There are two floors, kitchen area and restrooms. Bedrooms are on 2nd floor. They have heater on each floor. They had breakfast for us but forgot to plug it in. Its a comfortable stay. Parking outside the premise.

What an absolute pleasure to stay at Solares del sud. Bith Abril and Pedro were excellent hosts, helping with anything from arranging airport transfers to bus bookings and even salt and pepper when needed. The hotel is perfectly situated overlooking Lake Argentina. Highly reccomended. Our cottage was cosy, warm and comfortable with all the necessary amenities.

Very practical, nicely decorated (lots of wood, colors, local style) and very well-equipped facility. Very nice service. The facility is pet-friendly. The owners' cute cats were walking around the garden and looking into our house. It was cool! The bed mattresses and pillows were too hard and uncomfortable for us, but this is a subjective impression. Wifi practically did not work in the rooms despite a strong signal. The only place where you could use the Internet was the reception area with 2 chairs forthe guests. This is a very big minus of this place.

We chose this hotel based on the good review on TripAdvisor, but we are disappointed with the hotel. The front desk staff only speak Spanish. When we arrived, we asked them to call a taxi for us to go to the town for lunch. We waited for 45 minutes for the taxi. The hotel said they offer box lunch, but when asked for the box lunch for the next day, their kitchen was not open at all. The heater in one of the rooms does not work, and we had to sleep in the cold. There is no curtain for the door and window, so the late evening and early morning lights keep me awake. The breakfast is not good. Finally, when we left, we could not open the lobby door, and no one at the reception desk, we almost missed our taxi to the bus station. In the hindsight, I would not recommend travelers to stay here. You are better off to stay in downtown, as this location is a bit isolated and the service is not that good.

Es un lugar maravilloso. Muy recomendable para todo tipo de viajero! Sin duda volveremos a disfrutar de este lugar imperdible! Si están pensando en comodidad , ubicación, tranquilidad, este sin duda es el lugar que necesitan. A nosotros nos encantó y de seguro a ustedes también!!!

Estuvimos con mi mujer en este lugar dese el 18/3 al 23/3/2024. Adjunto 3 fotos. Realmente fue una experiencia bastante mala. En la cabaña que nos asignaron ya desde la 1ra noche notamos un intenso olor a cloaca. Al 3er día en la mañana se inundó por completo (brotaba agua de la rejilla del baño) toda la cabaña, lo que nos obligó a levantar nuestras pertenencia para tratar de salvar lo que se pueda. Evidentemente el mantenimiento y destapación de cañerías del lugar es lamentable. No se hicieron cargo del problema y el propietario se negó a ofrecer siquiera una compensación por el trastorno y las pertenencias dañadas. Lo único que rescato es la buena atención del empleado (colombiano) que está al frente del lugar. No vayan !! De seguro van a conseguir otros lugares, cuando menos aceptables, por el mismo dinero.
