The hotel is atop a hill facing the massive Argentino lake. The view by day and night is just outstanding. The staff need to be trained in courtesy and customer service especially the dining area staff! They had no smile on their faces. The tongs used for cold cut meats were being used for tomato slices. There was no live counter for eggs etc. All the items were cold and very unpalatable in the cold weather

This hotel is so old! NOTHING has been done to make improvements since it was built. The carpets are stained. The furniture is fabric and hasn't been changed. The bed is lumpy, and the pillows were hard as a rock. The food in the restaurant is not good. Breakfast is ridiculous with canned fruit cocktail and peaches, which I haven't seen since a child. It is also very expensive. Some of the staff is pleasant, some quite disagreeable. It is a hefty price to get to the downtown. They have a shuttle, but it doesn't run until 3:30pm! There aren't many options if staying here. I'd still check for something downtown to save a lot of time and expense.

Tired bedrooms, single small beds. Water £4 per small bottle. Few complimentary bathroom items. Tea bags provided on the first day but after you are charged. No milk provided, unless you pay . Disappointing. This hotel says shuttle service but this does not run until mid afternoon. The hotel can basically charge what it wishes because you are out of town. We had to wait until 30m to check in but had to Che k out at 10.30.

It was a very bad experience. The restaurant was very bad, sloppy, bad food. Unfriendly staff. Whatever we asked for, they said it wasn't available Çok kötü bir deneyim di. Restoran çok kötü özensiz kötü yemekler. Güler yüzlü olmayan personel. Ne istesek yok dediler.

Nice views, room without wifi for days, a bit run down and slightly out of town but friendly staff, good breakfast and restaurant. As many options in Calafate will probably not repeat. The glaciers are a must so going to Calafate is certainly a must.

Our travel agent booked us into this run down hotel outside town. The entire place needs a re-do. The big pool was nice and they offered a shuttle into town that runs from 3 pm to 11 pm. Luckily, it is a cheap uber ride. The rooms lack sound proofing so you hear everyone coming/going. I think there would be much nicer places in town that are more convenient to restaurants.

This hotel is a bit out of town, but has a good shuttle bus to get you there and back, as long as you can negotiate the booking service. the hotel is pleasant, the rooms clean, and have lovely views over the lake. The pool and spa area were really nice & staff there helpful; the pool was open till quite late, so nice to have a swim as the sun was going down. Breakfast selection was good, and I had an enjoyable meal on my first evening stay.

The room was well provided, comfortable, immaculate and well serviced. However, it was stiflingly hot with no fan or a/c and even with the window wide open, there was little relief. The staff were nice, keen and helpful but the language barrier caused many misunderstandings which we did overcome one way or another. They tended to be slow though which was a little irksome. For all that, I enjoyed my stay. There is nothing in the immediate vicinity so for a change the free shuttle bus runs regularly to town.

Location is a selling point. Fantastic views , including from bedroom window. Also only a 30 minute walk into town centre ( going just head for the Christmas treee that you can see on horizon but is up hill coming back. ) or book onto free hotel shuffle bus. Staff are all helpful, Friendly and very professional. My spainish is not great but I got by . The public rooms are well presented and stylish. The view from the pool best ive ever seen. The spa area nice snd pool lovely and warm .Although the steam room was not working and sauna not very hot. Can get a robe ftom spa. The restaurant/bar opens until midnight . I eat here one night out of my 4 nights. The food was very good. I had lamb stew. A bit Pricey but good quality and worth it. Wine also good and normal hotel prices. Breakfast was typical Argentina type of breakfast fare but quality was better than some other places. Nicely presented, wide selection. What let it down a little was the bedroom. It was a large room, bed was very comfy , everything you need was there but a little tired , needs a refresh . Slight damp musty smell, tap dripped in bath. The room was nice with fab views but not as stylish as rest of hotel. Over all a very good hotel. Super professional staff . I would like to come back.
