Simbavati Camp George is the laid back lodge of the collection (in my opinion). They have stunning gardens with hanging chairs and lots of space, so that you can enjoy the quiet and peaceful surroundings, even if the lodge is full. Joe, our guide, was an absolute asset to the lodge. He did his very best to get us the most animal sightings. He has been in the guiding business for many years before coming to Camp George, and I think he has found the right place where his guiding skills are our privilege as guests to enjoy. Just as we were arriving back to the lodge from our evening safari, suddenly he spotted a leopard right outside the lodge...EPIC!! The food also left nothing to be desired, it was great! Thank you for having me stay!

We only stayed one night at Camp George, it was fabulous. Most welcoming arrival, sensational game drives with our guide Julius, very experienced, very respectful behaviour towards the wildlife. Klaserie : amazing scenery. Thank you to Carina, Chef of Camp George, the most excellent food, so delicious!! Privately owned which you can really feel. Conservation is important and I love the eco children project. Thank you for our wonderful stay!!

This was a great trip for us. the Guides and Camp staff were top notch. the meals and drinks were great. The highlight of the trip was the twice daily games. we ventured out into the bush for 3 hours each time to see amazing animals up close and in their natural habitat. You can't go wrong with this location and host company.

This was our first family safari and our experience at Camp George did not disappoint. We loved the property, enjoyed the tranquil atmosphere, and appreciated the very accommodating staff. A special shout out to our terrific ranger/guide, Rolden, who was intuitive, patient and a natural story-teller. The boys were absolutely delighted that he was "chill".

From the time you arrive into camp, a sense of calm and serene is ever present. Inneke’s (GM) orientation really set the tone for our stay at Camp George - relaxing and overall amazing. Our guide, Rolden is a wonderful story teller and an excellent guide, bringing his guests into his world in his own unique ways. We loved the quieter moments both out on game drives and in camp. Green season and thick bush made spotting game challenging for us as guests (although one of the group spotted a leopard in a tree which was amazing) but Rolden most of the hard work and found us lion on day 1, and by day 3 we had seen (amongst other wildlife) 3 different leopard and a puff adder on our evening drive back to camp. Thanks to a wonderful team @ Camp George.

Loved the uncluttered appeal of my luxury suite overlooking the riverbed, with it's warm and welcoming environment in which to unwind. Every single one of the staff went out of their way from the warm welcome to the even warmer goodbye to ensure that I felt like I was leaving as a friend, fulfilled and at peace. Declan and Ralden, the 2 guides on safari duty while I was there, gained my respect in their determination to give the guests the best safaris possible in what can't be an easy task with the thick vegetation after recent rains - job well done guys. Thank you to the Simbavati Collection for a special experience during this all too short visit.

Our stay at Camp George was wonderful. So peaceful and relaxing, with some amazing sightings on game drives. The food and service were fantastic and the entire staff complement went above and above to make our stay such a great one.
