Everything is wonderful - the bedrooms and bathrooms are beautifully appointed, the village is so peaceful and quiet, the people are friendly and charming and the setting on the river is superb. The food is above and beyond - excellent dinners, breakfasts and Jan could not be more welcoming. My daughter is now intent on moving to France based on how much she has enjoyed this visit. The b&b is straightforward to find on good roads.

The beautiful really old property is located on the slowly flowing Saône river. Jan has created a property that mirrors the era of the house and it is very comforting and comfortable. The garden is a joy, with a lovely terrace on which the guests can contemplate the quiet river, with or without a glass of local wine! It is a very special spot and Jan is an attentive host with immense local knowledge. We're going back....
